• The Analytic Theory of Heat he wrote his first paper namely ‘On the Propagation of Heat in Solid Bodies’ (1807). he wrote another paper on heat flow called ‘Théorie analytique de la chaleur’ meaning ‘The Analytic Theory of Heat’ and it was based on Newton’s Law of Cooling.

3 Fourier Series
A Fourier series is a way of representing a periodic function as a (possibly infinite) sum of sine and cosine functions. For functions that are not periodic, the Fourier series is replaced by the Fourier transform. 4 References
