The river bed will be explored by few trial pits (after grant of Mining lease) to evaluate the quantum of sand available within the lease area. However accordingly, a rough estimate of about 884 Brass/Annum sand has been assessed to be available in the area. The Mining Plan and Progressive Mine Closure Plan has been approved by DGM govt. of Maharashtra. Copy of Mining Plan and Progressive Mine Closure Plan is enclosed as ANNEXURE ––– I.I.I. The mining will be carried out by Open-cast manual method as per the Mining Plan and Progressive Mine Closure Plan only. The entire mining area is Govt. land with no forest land involved. The proposed production is 884 Brass/Annum. Sand is one of the most sought- building materials for the construction purpose. Since Sand has hard texture and durability. It is used chiefly for construction, pavement of roads and imperviousness to moisture and acid. Sand is a perfect countertop material. D. Hiwase1, Dr. C. B. Shende2 1Department of Microbiology 2Department of Botany Mohasinbhai Zaweri College, Desaiganj, Dist. - Gadchiroli -441207 (India) Abstract: The economy of Gadchiroli district is mostly based on forest resources. Near about 79.36% of Gadchiroli district is covered by forest. A wild edible variety of Mushroom which is locally known as ‘Satya’ arises during rainy season and consumed by the people delightfully. During the survey, in Wadsa forest as well as in Korchi forest area, edible mushroom varieties such as Lepiota Americana, Panaeolus ephincitrinus, Polyporus albellus, Panaeolus cyanescens, Agaricus and Pleurotus are occurred. Keywords: Mushroom, Korchi forest, Wadsa forest, Panaeolus cyanescens, Pleurotus. 1. INTRODUCTION India is a rich treasure of mineral resources and wild macromycetes is one of them. The total number of fungal species in India is 27,000. From ancient time, they have been consumed by man for its texture and pleasing flavor. The mushroom protein contains high percentage of all nine essential amino acids (Chang and Miles, 2004) and as well as commonly occurring non-essential amino acids. They possess a great nutritional value with high amount of proteins, minerals, fibres, trace elements, vitamins and cholesterol. They have been used as folk medicine since thousands of years. A wide range of therapeutic potential including anticancer, antimicrobial and antidiabetic properties are separated (Rai et al, 2005). The diversity of mushroom occurring in Maharashtra was largely studied by Trivedi, (1972) in Vidarbha region and Sathe and Deshpande (1950) in western region.

This investigation was carried out for the period of two years i.e. Feb.2012 to Jan. 2014. The indoor aeromycoflora was isolated by Volumetric Sampling using Hi Air sampler and Exposer Petriplate method over Czapek’s Dox Agar medium. The recorded fungal diversity was confined to Oomycota, Zygomycota, Ascomycota and Deuteromycota groups. The maximum frequency was found to be of Ascomycota. The members like Aspergillus, Penicillium, Rhizopus, Mucor, Alternaria etc. were seem to be more common in the indoor air rice mills. Key Words: Aeromycology, rice mills, fungal spores, Aspergillus 1. INTRODUCTION: In India a large number of studies concentrated on aero-mycological field and other crops with varied objectives. The credit goes to researcher [1] who initiated studies of aerobiology in India. Present study is also studied in this direction in the occurrence of fungal spores in the indoor air of rice mill industries. Study of fungi is essential for anyone collecting or monitoring the any fungi from the study area.
