Heavyweight Contender David Price Makes Eagerly Anticipated Ring Return Live on Boxnation HEAVYWEIGHT CONTENDER DAVID PRICE MAKES EAGERLY ANTICIPATED RING RETURN LIVE ON BOXNATION London (28 Nov) – British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion David Price will make his long awaited ring return next month, live and exclusive on BoxNation. The Liverpool ace takes his first step back into the squared circle on December 14th in Neubrandenburg, Germany in an 8 rounder against Evgeny Orlov, as he looks to rebuild his career following back-to-back defeats against American heavyweight Tony Thompson. The 2008 Olympic bronze medallist was seen as the leading star amongst the rising crop of heavyweight hopefuls before his shock defeats to Thompson but is now looking to get back to winning ways following the appointment of respected trainer Adam Booth. Price has also joined up with top promoters, Sauerland Promotion, who will be hoping he can put on a great display against the 35-year-old Russian who has knocked out ten of his opponents in his 14 wins. ‘‘I am excited to be starting this new chapter in my career,’’ said Price, whose last outing came in July. ‘‘My training with Adam (Booth) has been going really well. We have made some changes in the gym and been working on a few different things for this fight. Come fight night people will see these changes in my performance. ‘‘My opponent Orlov is a tough guy so I am not taking anything for granted but I have seen him in training camps and watched him fight so I know what I need to do to beat him. I can’t wait to get back in the ring and get the ball rolling.’’ ‘‘This is the first-step back for David,’’ said promoter Kalle Sauerland. ‘‘It will be a solid test and a great learning experience for him. There is no doubt that David has the potential to become a world champion but we must take things slowly to allow him to develop and grow as a fighter.’’ Headlining the sell-out show in Neubrandenburg will be Juergen Braehmer (41-2, 31 KOs) who takes on the unbeaten Marcus Oliveira (25-0-1, 20 KOs) for the vacant WBA world light heavyweight title.     Anthony Joshua & Tyson Fury agree to two fights British World Heavyweight Champions Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have agreed to a two-fight deal, says promoter Eddie Hearn. Talks over an historic bout for the undisputed title began in early May and have been finalised today. Joshua, 30, holds the WBA, IBF and WBO belts while 31-year-old Fury is the WBC champion. The winner would bring all the belts together which is called “Unifying the division” for the first time since Britain’s Lennox Lewis in 1999. The successful athlete would become the undisputed World Heavyweight Champion and hold all 4 belts at the same time. "It's fair to say that Joshua and Fury are in agreement about the financial terms of the fight" Hearn, who is Joshua's promoter, told Sky Sports News. The actual amounts have not been disclosed but the total amount of money for the fight is thought to be around £150 million which would be split 50/50 for the first fight and then 60/40 in favour of the winner of the second fight. Fury expressed his delight at the news in a social media post. The Manchester- born boxer said he would fight Joshua in 2021, but would first have to overcome the "hurdle in the road" Deontay Wilder, in a third meeting. Fury is contracted to fight the American, who he beat to win the WBC title in February. Joshua, who reclaimed his world titles in December, has to face his mandatory challenger, Bulgaria's Kubrat Pulev, when the sport fully resumes after the coronavirus shutdown.
