We certainly have had some of the highest and lowest weeks in the recent history of the Stats the way aha aha we like it... football club. We were delighted to be back at home to Cardiff Met last Saturday, and was really pleasing to get back off and running with a win at home and a clean sheet. We were Players: excellent in the first half, and although stuttered a little second half we were well worth the Top Goalscorer - Jack Wilson and Danny Williams (8) victory that put us in to the top 6. Most Assists - Jack Wilson (4) Most Passes - Ricky Watts (601 - 37 per 90 mins) The news got better also later that day as we were finally able to announce the signing of Most Key Passes - Jack Wilson (17 - 1.5 per 90 mins) Jazz Richards (albeit after Sgorio bet us to it!). We had been speaking to Jazz for some Most Air Challenges Won - Sean Permberton (182 - 14 per 90 mins - 5th in the CP) time, and quite obviously he had many options elsewhere. However, over the moon is an Most Tackles - Ricky Watts (68 - 4.2 per 90 mins) understatement when he put pen to paper for the rest of the season. Red Cards - Alaric Jones (1), Kieran Lewis (1) Team: There has been a lot of attention surrounding the club and the player, with many Goals from Set Pieces (7) questioning the make up and reasons behind the deal. However, what we can see Avergage Shots Per Game (11.4 - 5th in the CP) through his interviews, and from what we knew about the player, is that he is here for the Average Shots on Target Per Game (4.3) right reasons. He wants to regain his love for football, and we are delighted he sees our Average Tackles Per Game (31 - Highest in the CP) environment as the best place to do that. His experience, ability and presence around Equalization Rate (57%) the camp will no doubt be invaluable for the reaminder of the season to help us retain our Cymru Premier status, and duly then focus on finishing as high as possible. The lows followed such a great start to the week as we lost a point at Aber on Tuesday night at the death. it was a terrible goal to concede particularly at that time in the game, and by all accounts the result was a fair reflection of the performance. We are a young side, with many inexperienced at this level, so we expect sometimes that inconsistencies will creep in, but what we do know is this team has such incredible spirit and determination and we always bounce back. We were fantastic in the away game at TNS, and was immensley proud to be so devastated at not getting anything from the game, as it shows how far we had come. Today will be another huge test, but one the boys will no doubt relish in front of the cameras. Enjoy the game! Enjoy the experience of being a racehorse owner!
