PM World Library Construction begins on new international aiport www.pmworldlibrary.net Beijing Airport December 2014 Project News MEGA PROJECT NEWS Construction begins on new Beijing Daxing International Airport $13 Billion facility designed for 72 million passengers is to be completed in five years 26 December 2014 – Beijing, China – As reported in various international media, construction has begun on a massive new international airport to serve Beijing, China’s capital city. Beijing's current international airport is the world's second busiest, but also one of the most delayed, with fewer than 20 percent of commercial passenger flights leaving on schedule according to a 2013 report. According to Wikipedia, Beijing Daxing International Airport or Beijing Capital Second International Airport is a planned new airport serving Beijing. The airport is to be built in Daxing District, located 46 km (29 mi) south of city center. The airport will be located on the southern part of Daxing along the border with Hebei province. The new airport which will serve Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, will cover an area of 2,680 hectares. The projected completion date for the new airport is October 2018. A new 37 km (23 mi) high-speed rail line is planned which will connect the airport to Beijing South railway station with a journey time of 30 minutes. All flights from Beijing Nanyuan Airport which is currently only used by China United Airlines, will be transferred to Daxing. The airport's master plan has been designed by airport consulting firm NACO and will feature a ground transportation centre providing the airport with public transportation links to high-speed rail, metro, expressways, Beijing Airport Bus routes, local buses and inter-airport transportation system. -

The challenge for western LCA producers in meeting this demand comes less from each other than from the regulation of China’s market by its government, the lack of adequate air transport infrastructure to serve its population, and China’s nascent attempt at building its own LCA. Should China continue to aggressively address governmental and infrastructure restraints, it will benefit through increased trade and tourism, both of which will spur LCA sales to satisfy air transport demand. -

Chairman Liu Shaoyong 20 China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited 2019 Annual Report Chairman’s Statement Business Review In 2019, the Group carried 130.297 million passengers, In 2019, the growth of the global economy has slowed down and representing a year-on-year increase of 7.5%; under the IFRS, various unstable uncertainties affecting economic development the Group achieved operating revenue of RMB120,986 million have increased significantly. National Council on Science and Technology (CONACYT), Mexico.´ ¤e-mail: [email protected] Received 28 February 2020; accepted 7 April 2020 At the end of December of 2019, a new type of coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, responsible of the disease now called COVID-19, started spreading in Wuhan, China and later throughout the world. Due to the global emergency state, the official pandemic declaration by the World Health Organization, as well as the need to investigate more about the danger Mexico is in, we worked on analyzing the risk of the COVID-19 importation to Mexico through the Air Transportation Network with a multilayer network approach. Based on the data obtained from the public data bases of OpenFlights, we created a multiplex network in which nodes represented airports, flights represented links, and airlines represented layers. We then simulated the propagation of the coronavirus using an unbiased random walk model with probability p = 1 of infection once the random walker steps in a certain airport. We found the COVID-19 spread behavior the first month is anomalous (subdiffusion) and later behaves as a normal diffusion. -

Abstract. The coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei has risen to a major national strategy. Traffic integration, as a pioneering area for coordinated development, plays an important role in promoting urbanization, industrial restructuring and regional coordinated development. Therefore, this paper analyzes the current situation of traffic integration in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei from the aspects of infrastructure construction, transportation services and investment in fixed assets. Through the analysis of the relevant data, it explores the problems in its development process. On this basis, it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the integrated development of traffic in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. 1. Introduction The core of the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei is to dissolve Beijing's non capital function in an orderly way and adjust the economic and spatial structure. As the artery of the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, traffic integration is the inevitable choice to take the lead in achieving the breakthroughs. The "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Development Plan" and the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Development Transportation Integration Plan" have been promulgated one after another to promote the network layout and integrated services of traffic in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. -
