His record with the Cougars is 150-61. • With Houston’s win, Sampson moves to 41st in NCAA Division I history with 650 career victories, passing former Houston head coach Tom Penders. • Sampson is the program’s career leader in winning percentage at .711 (150-61). • Sampson holds a 121-22 record when leading at halftime while coaching at Houston. • Sampson is 9-4 all-time against UCF. DeJON JARREAU • With two made threes tonight, Jarreau tied his Houston career-high for the second time. • Posted two steals against the Knights, tying his Houston career-high for the fifth time.

QUENTIN GRIMES • Poured in 18 points, marking his 11th double figure performance this season, 28th at Houston and 45th in his career. • Has made a 3-point in 14 consecutive games (dating to March 5, 2020), including all 12 games played this season. • Set a Houston career-high four steals. JUSTIN GORHAM • Following the game, was credited with a defensive that was originally given to DeJon Jarreau around the 4:15 mark of the second half. • With defensive rebound addition, finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Was his team-leading fourth double-double of the season and his Houston career and the ninth of his collegiate career. • Was his fourth game this season with double-digit scoring, fifth at Houston, and 19th career. • Was his fourth straight game with double-digit rebounds. Became the first Cougar to grab 10+ rebounds in four consecutive games since TaShawn Thomas accomplished the feat during the 2012-13 season. Thomas started his streak with 10 rebounds against Rice in the Conference USA Championship First Round (March 13, 2013) and followed that with 11 rebounds vs. UTEP in C-USA Championship Quarterfinals (March 14, 2013), 10 rebounds vs. Texas in CBI First Round (March 20, 2013) and 17 rebounds at George Mason in the CBI Quarterfinals (March 25, 2013).
