The attention of Drivers should be drawn to the necessity of being on the alert and ready to start their trains immediately as soon as they receive the Guard's Signal after satisfying themselves that they have received the correct "Authority to Proceed". Driver should run the trains at maximum permissible speed of the section even when the train is running in time in order to save time for compensating subsequent time losses due to unforeseen detentions like signalfailure, looping etc. subject to maximum permissible speed of the section and any Engg. or other special restrictions imposed from time to time. All trains shall be run with the limits of maximum permissible speed of the section observing all permanent and temporary speed restriction of that section.
