LONG: CHICAGO HAD CHANCE TO KNOCK OUT GREEN BAY WEEK 17…AND DIDN’T – FOX NFL SUNDAY analyst and Super Bowl-winner Howie Long breaks down Sunday’s historic division clash between the Packers and Bears that decides who will represent the NFC in Super Bowl XLV. “The Week 17 matchup between these two teams was telling in that the Bears opted to play their starters in a game that had no impact on their playoff position. Chicago was motivated to knock Green Bay out of the postseason so they wouldn’t to play them but they didn’t do enough and here we are. Aaron Rodgers is about as hot right now as a quarterback can get in the playoffs and ‘the good’ Jay Cutler came to play last week. These teams are very evenly matched and balanced in many positions. In a game like this, it could come down to special teams making the difference.”
