Appleby’s Canadian Experience Camp brings together youth groups from around the world to learn, play and live on our beautiful campus Providing students ages 9 to 14 with a unique opportunity to experience top quality Canadian education While exploring the life and beauty of Canada through field trips and excursions Programs run from 2 to 4 weeks in July and August and are designed for groups of 15 or more Program Structure

Ottawa Longer overnight trips can include a visit to the Queen’s University Biological Station, one of the premiere scientific field stations in North America - hosted at Elbow Lake near Kingston.

Here students will explore, enjoy and learn in the arms of mother nature in a hands-on three-day workshop.

Tour our capital and major French-Canadian cities – see Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City

Extend this trip further to Eastern Canada where students will truly experience the rugged natural beauty of our east coast and the Atlantic Ocean

Summer students have access to all of Appleby’s outstanding facilities including leading technology integration Newly renovated classroom spaces A bright and spacious state-of-the art library and technology centre Premiere visual and performance arts spaces with a dance studio, 4 music studios, 8 practice rooms, 3 visual arts studios and a Mac-based media lab A performance theatre with seating capacity of 140 Indoor athletic facilities include a full-sized pool, gymnasium, arena, squash courts and fitness centres The gymnasium features a rock-climbing wall Outdoor athletic facilities include four high grade natural sports fields A lakefront multi-sport turf field Five tennis courts Outdoor volleyball and basketball courts Accessible lakefront providing students the opportunity to enjoy pre-arranged water sports A new dining hall supports meals for up to 1,000 diners Three buffet style meals are provided for groups daily All meals are expertly prepared by our Sodexo catering team Outdoor eating spaces are perfect for summer BBQs Double and single accommodations are available in our four air-conditioned residences Each room features bed, closet, desk and wireless internet access.
