Implementation is guided by a planning framework that comprises UP’S VICE CHANCELLORS five-year plans that identify key actions and desired outcomes. Annual planning takes place within the five-year planning horizon. The University of Pretoria (UP) came into existence in 1908 as the Pretoria branch of the Transvaal University College (TUC).
