Membership of the Foundation Message from the Chairman

We are proud to welcome the following new and renewing Members who have joined since the last edition of Welcome to all our donors and supporters to another Foundation Foundation Focus: Focus. I’d like to take this opportunity to highlight a couple of items. We had over 150 attendees and I’d like to again thank all of you who were able to make it. I would also like to thank our current Directors who re nominated for positions on the Foundation Board and make special mention and welcome to Selina Pollard to the Board.

Individuals can become Members for $200 a year (tax deductible) and Corporate Membership is $800 a year. I hope you enjoy reading on. Existing Members who have fulfilled their pledges are encouraged to renew their pledge and continue to support the work of the Foundation. It is through this kind of annual giving that we are able to support University projects, scholarships and bursaries.

Donations are cumulative and donors progress to new levels when totals are achieved.

This is Ngaruwanajirri artists’ first major retrospective exhibition and marks the launch of a special suite of 48 monotypes, Foundation AGM and Art Gallery Opening created with collaborating printer Marilyn Gibson in 2010.

The 2011 Foundation Annual General Meeting was held on 13 April. 150 Foundation members and guests attended the meeting which was followed by the official opening of artist Carole Wilson’s exhibition “The Nature of Things” by His Honour the Administrator of the NT, Mr Tom Pauling AO QC.
