Large mortgages and high use of credit cards is leading to record levels of bankruptcies in Australia. In response to this, Somerville Community Services recently ran a Bankruptcy Training Workshop for financial counsellors. The course was presented by the Insolvency and Trustee Service Australia (ITSA) with Guest Presenter Arthur Michaloudakis seen here with workshop participants.

Somerville’s launched its free “Money Management Service” with a BBQ lunch at the Batchelor Indigenous Institute on 21st March. The Money Management Training will now be held every Tuesday between 10am - 2pm at the Institute during each school term.
