Globecast recognises the growing demand for upcoming distribution of major sports and news events, and the new technologies adopted by AsiaSat across its fleet will facilitate meeting that demand.

The new satellite’s immediate readiness to broadcast live events like the APEC and ASEAN conferences held in Vietnam and the Philippines respectively was crucial to Globecast, who can now serve more customers with AsiaSat 9’s exceptional power and coverage.
