A Message From Pope Francis Stella Maris n the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, in his Apostolic OLetterPatris Corde, Pope Francis declared a “Year of St. Joseph” Parish to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the proclamation of this great saint as Patron of the Catholic Church (8 Dec 1870). The aim Bucksport, Castine, of this Letter is to increase our love for Saint Joseph, to encourage and Stonington us to implore his intercession and to imitate his virtues. “Get up, take the child and his mother” (Mt 2:13), God told Joseph.
