Children gather at the Children’s Cross for the Collect of the Day and Dismissal to Children’s Chapel to hear the story of Jesus and engage in a meaningful reflection of the lessons for that Sunday, before returning to join in our Prayers and to share in the Peace and Holy Communion. Evensong will return Sunday, May 13, 3 pm Wednesdays September through May Please join us May 13 for Evensong led by Christ Church Schola. The Catechumenate (pronounced “kat-uh-KEW-meh-nut”) is for those who want to immerse themselves (again) in the heart of the Christian faith. Over the course of the program year we will form a community of Christian disciples as we study together the fundamentals of Christian Feast of the Ascension faith and discipleship. If you are new to our community or a life-long member, this reading course promises to (re)connect us with one Thursday, May 10, 7 pm another and (re)immerse us in the heart of our faith and life as Christians.
