Tras una revisión teórica sobre dichos concep- tos, la investigación se basa en una metodología cualitativa mediante el análisis textual, utilizando en primer lugar una clasificación de género basado en un modelo semántico- pragmático de clasificación de elementos ludoficcionales, para posteriormente analizar dos ejemplos representativos de los denominados God Games: Populous (Bullfrog, 1989) y Cities: Skylines (Colossal Order, 2015).
