  • Gautama Buddha Was Born in Helabima 2
1 2 Gautama Buddha was born in Helabima (Volume II) The English translation of අපඋපන් මේ මෙළම 뷔න් උපන් ජන්뷊Ǔපය (මෙලන ම ොටස) (This Helabima, where we were born, is Janbudveepa, the birth place of the Lord Buddha) Introduction 3 This is the second volume of the book අප උපන් මේ මෙළම뷔න් උපන් ජන්뷊Ǔපය what I published 16 months ago. It is a must to be fulfilled by all of us, as the people who are born in this Helabima and live in this Helabima, to read, analyze and understand the absolute truth highlighted in this book. Every human being is having the mental freedom of speaking the truth, writing about the truth and recording them for the future use. After reading most of the things mentioned in this book, you will experience a total new, different understanding in Dhamma which is not going hand in hand with the opinions what you knew all this times and what you had learnt following the conventional thinking, systems and methodologies. Buddha Dhamma stands for “Penetrating in to Paramartha Dhamma through the traditions”. What you read in books and learnt from someone is the tradition, the conventional thinking. They are nothing but guessings that you have experienced based on what you heard, saw and learnt. You should penetrate in to what you learnt on traditions and based on them you should see the absolute truth. Seeing the absolute truth is limited purely to you yourself. Seeing the absolute truth for you, cannot be done by someone else.

  • Solo Travelling Experiences
Solo Travelling Experiences A Wander To Remember – Matale Before the beginning My solo Traveling thirst is not yet vanished. I decided to have my next material destination to Matale. Before I search in Google I wasn’t aware of the beauty of Matale. I just thought that is only a location in Sri Lanka. I had no good idea about the beauty of Matale until I stepped in. My thought was wrong. I realized this later. I am addicted to travelling now. As a result of my addiction I choose this beauty to taste the mountains and forests all over there. I started my Journey on Jan 05th Friday after my office hours. This was my first Solo Travel on this New Year. Actually I found 3 ways of transport to my destination; I used one of that ways, which was the direct way to Matale. Below chart shows the 3 ways to reach my lovely destination. I choose Colombo to Matale direct way. I decided this, after arriving to the bus station at Fort Colombo as a result of bus availability. Below link will be useful to find the bus fairs. http://www.ntc.gov.lk/bus_fare/2017/Paperad deng.pdf I reached fort C.T.B bus stand by 3.00 pm and enquired about Matale bus from many people around, few asked me to use Kandy bus and take Matale from Kandy or take Kurunegala bus and take Matale bus from Kurunegala, then I decided to take a direct way, finally I found the correct direct bus within short period of time.

  • Destination Information
Destination Information ADAMS PEAK Whether it is Adam’s Peak (where Adam first set foot on earth after being cast out of heaven), “Sri Pada” (sacred foot print of Lord Buddha) or “Samanala Kanda” (the butterfly mountain) it is a beautiful and fascinating place. Whichever legend you care to believe the fact remains that it has been a pilgrimage center for over 1000 years. The pilgrimage season begins on Full Moon day (Poya Day) in December and runs till the start of the South West Monsoon in April. During the season a steady stream of pilgrims and tourists make the climb up the countless steps to the top. The walk is lit during the season by a string of lights, which is beautiful at night as they shake up the mountainside. It is not only the sacred footprint that pilgrims climb to see but also the first rays of dawn lighting up the holy mountain. Adam’s Peak has the unique species of forests belonging to the family of Dipterocarpace, which is never found at high altitudes. AHUNGALLA Ahungalla is a small and serene traditional fishing village located on the southwestern tip of Sri Lanka with the surroundings untouched and flourished with fauna, flora and wildlife. Golden beaches stretch northwards up the coastline from Ahungalla, broken only by the mouths of rivers feeding into the sea. A boat ride through the mangrove swamps of Ahungalla is the perfect way to appreciate the local flora and fauna. Ahungalla’s close proximity to the mouth of the river on the shoreline, offers locals an abundance of both river and sea fish.
