2 We were excited to complete the museum’s new Visitor Guide. The booklet is a colorful, floor-by-floor guide that highlights the museum’s permanent and special exhibitions and outdoor buildings. We are very pleased with the outcome and thank Wayne and Dorothy Johnson for supporting this project. A facilities goal to achieve energy efficiency became a reality thanks to Ed and Joyce Epperly. Their generous gift provided the funds to change to efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs throughout the museum and the Westby Torgerson Education Center—a project involving over 600 lights! These are just a few of the many programs and projects that Vesterheim presented in 2014 with the committment of dedicated supporters.
