EASY TO RACK SLIDE The CCP M2 is an innovative mix of modern handgun technology and Carl Walther’s original fixed-barrel semi-automatic design. The CCP M2 features a fixed-barrel with the revolutionary SoftCoil delayed blowback system. One of the primary features of this system is that it allows the shooter to easily manipulate the slide, no matter their level of hand strength. SOFTCOIL SYSTEM The SoftCoil Gas technology is a gas-delayed blowback system that uses gas pressures from the ignit- ed cartridge. The gases are directed through a small port in the barrel di- rectly in front of the cartridge chamber, which fill a piston chamber. As the slide moves rearward, the piston that is attached to the slide, under the barrel, moves through the gas- ses in the piston chamber. This process results in slowing down and delaying the rearward motion of the slide. The advantages of having the SoftCoil system is that it requires less force to operate the slide and reduces felt recoil.
