And at a time when political elites draw on fear and T racism to gain power, we unwaveringly uphold the values that have always made up our collective voice for justice. We know that there is too much at stake not to hold this work deep in our hearts. The following guiding principles arm the strategies that many of us discussed at the 2015 National Member Meeting: Transform Jewish Communities, Sustain and Support our Allies in the Movement, Win Campaigns to Challenge Oppression and Build Power, Shift Culture and Public Discourse, and Build Capacity and Scale. In short, this is how we win: Grassroots organizing, leadership development, and relationships respect for the humanity of all people We believe that global systems of power that uphold injustice can be changed by We believe parity of power will create opportunities for peace between individuals grassroots movements. We build grassroots power through relationships that move and globally. Our vision of peace, justice, and equality for all people guides our //1 people to action. //4 work. the capacity for people to change Jewish communities centered around justice Foundational to our work for justice and peace is believing people, organizations, and We are inspired by Jewish traditions to work for justice, and such work is part of our communities are dynamic. We create space for people to move and transform. We own liberation. We work to build Jewish communities that refect the understanding encourage continual learning, skill-development, and political education for people that being Jewish and Judaism are not synonymous with Zionism or support for to evolve in their thinking and deepen their investment in action to realize justice for Israel.
