Walking in Wisdom - Introduction Walking In Wisdom - Introduction Introduction Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Jeremiah 6:16 One of the great signs of the end-time is the uncovering of the ways of God. God has ways. His ways are good, they are always correct and ever current. God's ways can never be outdated; they are the old paths that lead to rest. As God begins to make known His ways, the world will come to appreciate that the ways of the Almighty are far higher than the ways of men. God's Word declares: For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9 Therefore, God's ways are superior to the ways of the world; and that's why no matter how much secular education an unsaved man acquires, he cannot match up with the level of results the saints will produce this end-time, operating the higher ways of God. That is no wonder, because what is from above is above all. What man has is at best ordinary ways, and ordinary ways lead to ordinary ends. When He opens you up to it, you are automatically on a flight! You leave the realm of the natural to the supernatural; you cross over from the realm of the ordinary to the extraordinary. Wisdom is laying hold on the ways of God, God's approach to every issue of life. It is knowing from God's Word which way to go and how to handle situations to make them produce desired results. Wisdom is knowing how to make it in life! I want to define supernatural wisdom as the supernatural ability to bring solutions to dark matters too difficult for the human mind. And that is the wisdom I will be introducing you to in this book. Also, I will be showing you the technicalities of this wisdom. You will understand its inner workings and how results can be obtained. This will make you stop running helter-skelter, because you will know the strategy for winning in life - by operating God's kind of wisdom. However, this wisdom is not common sense, but scriptural sense. It is the ability to operate by scriptures in every aspect of your life. It is making use of the Word to produce profits in any given area of life. I often say that, until you work certain things, they won't work of their own accord. The word is immutable, but until you put it to use, it never works. I have been privileged to gain access to God's wisdom, and it has been my greatest asset in life and ministry. I remember that when I was going into ministry, wisdom was the only thing I needed, not money or anything else; just an understanding of the ways of God. On the day I was commissioned into the ministry, I kept saying, "Lord, I need your wisdom." I cried after it and it answered to me. As a result of that encounter with wisdom, I have not had a sleepless night worrying about the ministry God has entrusted into my hands; this is in spite of its size. There has never been a discussion with my wife or anyone else on what to do next, or where to go from a particular point. No! Later on, I wrote the constitution of the ministry single handedly! And mark you, I am not a lawyer. But the wisdom of God penetrated my mental faculty, giving me understanding in all things. Some years later, a one-time state Chief Judge, after hearing me speak asked, "Where did you get this electric brain from?" Those are the proofs of wisdom. You too will have encounters with it as you read this book. Recently, God told me, "I am sending you to bring about a mental revolution in the body of Christ." So, I pray that this book will trigger off that revolution in your life. I pray that God will cause you to do exploits using this wisdom in all its innumerable aspects and its infinite varieties, causing it to affect every area of your life. Second Timothy 3:15 says: And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Also Psalm 119:98 says: Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. It is time for the Body of Christ to begin to pursue a working knowledge of Scriptures. As it does, we will witness mighty manifestations in all areas of life. http://www.winnerscanaanland.org/Books/Wisdom/wiwc0001.htm (3 of 3)7/26/2005 12:30:01 AM Walking In Wisdom - Chapter 1 Chapter 1 The Wisdom Era Of The Church To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord Ephesians 3:10-11 God is building up a glorious Church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing. It will be one without blemish, much respected and to be reckoned with; a Church that has practical dominion in all areas of life. It will be a Church in charge! The purpose for building up Zion is for the ultimate appearing of Jesus. Until Zion is built, scriptures tell us He will not return. Psalm 102:16 says: When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. This gives us an insight into the agenda of His return. The Church must have come to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ before His appearing. That is why Jesus is committed to building up the Church, and the instrument He will be using is that of wisdom. By It The Church Will Reign The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Psalm 110:2 A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. Proverbs 24:5 God's strength is wrapped up in His wisdom; and if He will send the rod of His strength into Zion, it means that He will cause the Church to rule in the midst of her enemies by the rod of wisdom. Let me give you a practical example of what I'm talking about with this testimony: "Before the end of 1994, I noticed that one of my son’s testes was swollen. I called my wife to see it. Immediately, we went to the clinic. The doctor’s verdict was that it would have to be corrected by surgery. My heart almost failed, because I had thought it was a mere infection. We found out that such surgery was going to cost us about 20,000 naira. When we got home, my wife told me that if we agreed to that surgery, it would be the greatest mistake we would ever make. She suggested that we look unto God to perform the healing. I believed her and agreed with her. We prayed and laid hands on him and continued to confess our healing covenant with God. Yet, there was no change; rather, the swelling increased. It was then that the Lord spoke to me to go and look for a book on divine healing. I went to a christian bookshop, and to the glory of God, I came across this book written by Dr. David Oyedepo, Keys To Divine Health. On the second day, I told God that all I needed was just one key with which to deal with the situation. And to the glory of God, the Lord led me to pages 23-26. I sat down and read it, and I discovered that my problem was Satan, the tormentor, that Satan was the one tormenting my son. So I called in my son, and told him to lie down. Then I said, 'Satan, I command you, come on, appear before me right now.' Then I asked him, 'When this body was created in 1991, were you part of the creation?' He said, 'no'. I asked him again, 'When this body was created, was he created in your own image?' He answered that he was created in the image of God.

The partnership has two main objectives: First and foremost, it is a celebration of Christian education and the quality of Christian education offered from coast to coast. Secondly, it is a celebration of the arts, celebrating the way educators and students use the arts to praise their Creator. Students from Eastern Christian School were partnered with students from Ripon Christian School in northern California, guided by their teacher Mari Schuller. They communicated both informally EC sophomores Katherine Vander Wende and formally, using communication prompts provided by the teachers. Beyond these assignments, the and Deanna Cirino (left) welcome three members of Ripon Christian’s choir. students also evaluated each other’s music and art. For example, students from EC Chamber Singers used technology to record their choral music literature and sent it to Ripon Christian School with an ensemble evaluative grading rubric.
