Sandro Di Stefano, Italian composer, researcher, specialized in Music and Applied Sound. Professor of Composition Applied to Images and Visual Communication at the State Conservatory of Music E.R. DUNI of Matera (Italy). Professor / Thesis Supervisor dedicated to the Sound / Light relationship, the Sound Branding / Mass Communication relationship and the Sound / Emotional Codes relationship. A Degree Thesis dedicated to him at the State Conservatory of Music “N. Sala ”in Benevento (Italy) entitled“ Sandro Di Stefano, music is an invisible actress ”.

He was a teacher at the famous Italian Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and at CESMA in Switzerland. He was supervisor on sound and music guest at the MAXXI in in the Conferences on Cinematographic Sound by the Oscar winner Giuseppe Tornatore of the Thematic Group for Sound Cinematography. Di Stefano was Visiting Professor at the Foundation (Italy) and Berkley College, Boston (USA).

As a composer he has made original music and original sound for over 80 audiovisuals, in Italy and in the world, divided between feature films, documentaries, museum installations, TV, in Europe, USA and Asia, produced and distributed by Oscar-winning Companies such as Voltage Pictures and LionsGate. Working with international casts such as Dolph Lundgren and Christopher Lambert.

He has written university books on the relationship "music and images" together with Oscar-winning composers such as , Nicola Piovani.

Reference composer of the Vatican in Sacred Art, Di Stefano has composed original music and sound for important cultural TV series with international distribution such as "Discovering the Vatican Museums" and "Divina Bellezza", conducted by scientific popularizer Alberto Angela, productions and distributions world curated by RAI COM, where he also composed music with original Lirycs by Pope Francis.

Specialist in musical and sound creations for Multimedia Art in Mapping with "watch out" technology, he was a member of the scientific technical committee for the creation of the Multimedia Museum and realization of the project "The world of Frederick II", dedicated to Frederick II of Svevia, Stupor Mundi, and his Italian Castles.

He is the author of original music and sound design at the celebratory Multivision of the 60th anniversary of the Italian Constitutional Charter, as well as special installations and narrative museums.

Polish Oscar nominations "Polish Film Awards ORLY 2018" for the soundtrack of the film "the man with the magic box". Chioma di Berenice Award, best cinema soundtrack, 2016 for the film “Reveries of a solitary walker”. Best music at the Polish Film Festival for the soundtrack of the film “the man with the magic box”. He has won 50 international awards for best soundtrack and best sound design such as the Los Angeles Film Competition; International Movie Awards.

His music is regularly produced by Majors such as Warner Music, Kemper Music, Plaza Major, Universal, Sony Music, programmed by Radio and TV and performed by the best orchestras. Together with Oscar winner Michael Nyman and Krzysztof Penderecki he is invited to the FMF in Krakow 2018 for the performance of his Suite from the film "the man with the magic box", with the Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra.

He works with European, American and Asian cinema with Directors Cannes Film Festival, Venice Flm festival and Asian Oscars, for which he composed several soundtracks to internationally successful Movies.

Sandro Di Stefano is an EFA official member of Merit "European Film Academy" and an official member of Merit Polish National Cinema Academy "ORLY".
