    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Rocky Horror Picture Show Film Screening Party With Barry Bostwick Coming to The Hanover Theatre Worcester, Mass. (August 2, 2016) Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic film, actor Barry Bostwick is heading to The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts on Friday, October 28 at 7:30 p.m. to present The 40th Anniversary Rocky Horror Picture Show Film Screening Party. Fans will have the opportunity to view the film, enter a costume contest judged by Barry, then hear behind-the-scenes stories straight from “Brad” himself as Barry Bostwick takes to the stage and engages in a talkback and audience Q&A. For the past four decades, fans have been giving themselves over to absolute pleasure, dressing up as their favorite Rocky Horror character, shouting out lines and singing along. Audience members are encouraged to come in costume as their character of choice and be a part of the audience as they dance the Time Warp and sing their loudest “Hot Patootie” during the film. One person will go home with the glory as the winner of the costume contest, selected by Barry Bostwick himself. From his portrayal of the quintessential all-American “Brad Majors” in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” to the hilarious Mayor Randall Winston on ABC’s “Spin City,” Barry Bostwick has had quite a career spanning all genres and mediums of show business. He portrayed George Washington in the two-part Peabody award-winning CBS miniseries epic “George Washington” and won a Golden Globe for his performance as Lieutenant “Lady” Aster in ABC’s presentation of “War and Remembrance.” Barry has recently recurred on several hit television series --more-- including “Scandal,” “Glee,” “The New Normal,” Showtime’s “Masters of Sex” and the 2-hour musical episode of “Psych.” Tickets to The 40th Anniversary Rocky Horror Picture Show Film Screening Party are $29.

There was a lot of creativity and heart, they were inspiring to see," said Sofia Coppola, Festival juror. ----- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: NEW YORK, NY (March 22, 2021): New York International Children’s Film Festival closed its 2021 edition with a presentation of the Best of the Fest short films and the announcement of the 2021 Festival award-winners. For the first time in the Festival’s 24-year history, audiences expanded from the New York metro area to across the country, drawing viewers from 47 out of 50 states to the virtual Festival. The Festival received thousands of submissions from around the world to select and curate a collection of inventive, diverse, and artistically ambitious films for its annual event, held virtually from March 5-14, 2021. Audience and Grand Prize Awards are presented to the films and filmmakers with the highest-ranking votes from Festival audience members, while Jury Awards are selected by an esteemed jury of filmmakers, actors, and industry leaders. The Best of the Fest, a collection of the highest-ranking short films from throughout the Festival, was released on Friday, March 19. In lieu of a traditional live awards ceremony, winners were announced on the Festival’s website and social media channels on Monday, March 22. “In addition to spotlighting the most innovative films for young audiences, the Jury and Audience Awards recognized the strength of women behind the camera, supported nonbinary storytelling, and acknowledged European co-productions that bolstered underrepresented filmmaker voices and stories from the Carribean,” said Programming Director Maria-Christina Villaseňor.
