I’m thrilled to be part of Kima as

their interiors director. I have worked

extensively across Europe to cement

myself as one of the region’s most

creative interior advisers. I was fortunate

to graduate from the esteemed

International Design school in Moscow

and delighted to bring my love, passion

and dedication to interior design to the CLAUDIO ROCCHETTI team at KIMA Founding Director

Coming from an Italian background I grew Karina

up immersed in classical architecture and

a culture of design and craftsmanship. I

consider myself lucky that I managed to

create a business where I strive to put this

into practice.

The showstopper of this project, which took an incredible amount of detailing and coordination, was the new stair required to connect the two levels of this very large amalgamated apartment. The clients are influential in the public sphere and entertain frequently and therefore required something magnificent, to make an impressive entrance. I think we fulfilled the brief, and then some! Walton St. A very challenging project with a triple Size: 604 sq.m / 6500 sq.ft basement in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. I relished the opportunity to use many different types of natural stone – more than 15 in all. The results are without a doubt spectacular. Claudio

The ‘before and after’ of this apartment was a thrilling transformation. We turned it from being just a flat to a warm and welcoming pied-a-terre. Claudio

We carefully combined and detailed various stones, leather wallcovering, Murano glass chandeliers, back-lit onyx, etc. along with an eye-catching cantilevered stair and loose furniture to great effect.

I was honoured to be approached by a return client for the natural stone on this project. I travelled to Dubai to oversee the installation. It was an exciting opportunity to select only the best, most dramatic and impressive pieces. I think it adds an amazing dimension to the finished interiors.

My favourite element in this villa, which we extended and did a complete refurbishment of, is the purpose made solid bronze handrail on the main staircase and spanning 5 floors. The staircase winds around a customized, dazzling Swarovski chandelier of equal length.

Beautiful family house where we worked on preserving all the original features and integrating them with modern design for a young family. ( Could be changed better) Very eclectic and fun project Karina

We were inspired by a Victorian pharmacy shop picture , with all little drawers, knobs and wooden panels, we loved how detailed it was, which we reflected on shop front design , we even suggested traditional owning which we though suits best this street, next door to Harrods . Karina

During refurbishment we discovered a large attic void and decided to make this the feature of the master suite. There now hangs an elegant chandelier with tinted crystals over the bed. And to complete the room there is a fireplace with intimate seating and a desk with a rooftop view. My ideal. Claudio
