CAP (Christians Against Poverty) - Community Links Coordinator

The CAP Debt counselling community outreach centre, which is linked to Greystone Presbyterian Church, requires a person to train as a Community Links Coordinator (CLC). The purpose of a CLC is to publicise the Antrim CAP centre to potential referral agencies and press and media in the postal code areas of BT29, BT39 and BT41 with a view to gen- erating client referrals for the centre. A CLC is required to contact agencies to promote CAP's services and respond to enquiries and attend relevant meetings. The volunteer will need to attend a one day training session at CAP Head office in Bradford where they will gain in-depth knowledge of the services CAP offers and methods to promote these. Personal specification for this role requires the volunteer to have GCSE English and experience of a CAP centre either as a client or support worker. bit.ly/2OfHTbF

Stroke Association - Group Supporter As a Stroke Group Supporter, you'll be part of a team who will assist in the running of our Newtownabbey Stroke Support Group. Tasks could include assisting Stroke Association staff and/or voluntary group committee members in arranging activities and events for the group by helping to provide information, researching and contacting local activity and/or service providers. Age NI - Support Volunteer

This role will provide support to the My Life My Way Community Navigator by supporting older people with dementia and their carers as they make decisions about future care and social inclusion options. The support volunteer will provide an interim, floating service supporting our service users who are waiting to be matched with a longer term volunteer.
