TOURNAMENT RULES 1. All FINA rules apply. 2. The tournament will be played on a round-robin basis up to match number 60, with points being allocated as follows: - 3 points for a win. - 1 point for a draw. - 0 points for a loss. 3. In the case of two teams finishing on the same number of points in the pool section, the head to head between those 2 teams will be taken into account first, thereafter goal difference, then the team scoring the most goals. If the teams are still level, we will look at the result between the relevant teams, otherwise, the result will be decided by the toss of a coin. 4. All matches will start on time, and will be of 4 x 5 minute chukkas, running time. All Cup matches, including the 3rd/4th Play-Off will be 4 x 5 min stop-start. No time outs are permitted, except for in the finals and 3rd and 4th Play- Off. If the teams are still level in all the matches from number 85-109, we will go to penalty shoot-out as per FINA Rules, and there will be no extra-time. In the three finals and 3rd/4th play-off, in the event of the teams being level at the end of regulation time, there will be a penalty shoot-out as per FINA Rules. 5. Teams with blue caps will start on the school side of the pool at Wahoo, and on the field side of the pool at St Peter’s Prep. 6. The Director of Referees will be Mr Mike Brady. 7. The Technical Director will be Mr Nardus Badenhorst. 8. The Disciplinary Committee will be run by Mr Mike Brady.
