David Berkowitz, one of ACBL’s top players, earned 45 masterpoints by finishing sixth in the Nail Life Master Open Pairs, pushing his masterpoint total past 25,000. He was playing with regular partner Larry Cohen in the event. Berkowitz, who moved to Boca Raton FL about a year ago, lived in New Jersey before that, working for 25 years as an options trader. He has more than 20 North American championships to his credit, including six with his wife, Lisa.
