INTRODUCTION Since 2015 THOR’S tipi has been central to the both Summer and Christmas offerings in 11 major UK cities. THOR’S sites have ranged from the grounds of a Grade 1 listed national landmark – York Minster – to UNESCO World Heritage and Scheduled Monument Site: Princes Street Edinburgh, adjacent to the Scott Monument. Whether it is a Sperry tent or Tipi, we believe that the we have found inimitable products of breath-taking beauty, authentic craftsmanship and refined quality which can fit harmoniously with exciting public spaces and distinguished architecture. We are now looking at re-designing Event Spaces in City Centres, for ‘Post-covid’ City Centre Growth. We believe that Events Spaces and temporary, unique offerings will be the key to city centre regeneration and the rebirth of the high street. PRINCES STREET, EDINBURGH UNESCO World Heritage Site, next to Scheduled Monument (Scott Monument) TESTIMONIAL – EDINBURGH “THOR’S delivered a temporary event in the centre of Edinburgh’s World Heritage Site, at the prominent Waverley Mall on Princes St. Their event’s implementation was sympathetic to our historic surroundings, of a standard befitting the setting, and engaged with both tourists and local residents alike.” Jacquelyn Stewart, General Manager Waverley Mall PRINCIPAL HOTEL, YORK Grade 2 listed Hotel and Gardens with views of heritage cityscape: York Minster & Bar Walls PRINCIPAL HOTEL, YORK Grade 2 listed Hotel and Gardens with views of heritage cityscape: York Minster & Bar Walls TESTIMONIAL – YORK “We strongly believe that working with the THOR’S team and their ‘Pop-Up events’ have added another exciting dimension to our beautiful garden. THOR’S considers the space holistically and uses structures which complement the heritage of the gardens and the surrounding buildings. We have worked with them to ensure the placement of their structures does not restrict important views and are sympathetic to the location. Not only do our hotel residents love visiting THOR’S, but it has also meant that York residents and the local community have been able to enjoy a space which they would never have discovered. We work with THOR’S because of the local brand recognition and also because of the high quality of event they deliver.” Tracy Harrison, General Manager The Principal York CORNHILL, LINCOLN Next to Grade 2 listed Exchange Arcade and Corn Exchange TESTIMONIAL – LINCOLN “THOR’S is a great concept that brings an extra dimension to city centres over the festive period and we are delighted to be working with local businesses and stakeholders with the aim of bringing THOR’S to Lincoln each Christmas” Matt Corrigan, Chief Executive, Lincoln Business Improvement Group (BIG) VICTORIA SQUARE, LEEDS Next to Grades 1, 2 starred and 2 Listed buildings, Town Hall, Museum, Art Gallery and War Memorial PEACE GARDENS, SHEFFIELD Next to Sheffield Town Hall, Grade 1 Listed HYDE PARK, LONDON Royal Park governed by sovereign’s permission DEANS PARK, YORK MINSTER Grade 1 Listed, within Scheduled Monument Designated Area.
