They lost 14-6 to the Ontario Fury Friday night at the Family Arena. • This is also the second game for Tacoma this weekend. They defeated the Kansas City Comets 6-5 last night in Independence. '-AT2S 435T • Following today’s action, the Ambush close out the 2021 regular season when they face the Dallas Sidekicks next Friday, March 12 at 7:35 p.m. at the Axius Field at The Family Arena. • Tacoma has three regular season games remaining after today. Next up, they clash with the Florida Tropics as the home team in a neutral site game at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California on March 11. A #""6 AT T-3 AM78S- C"M94+ 94T" T-IS +AM3 • The Ambush are looking to bounce back from their worst loss of the year Friday night. • Scoring has been a true team effort for the Ambush, with 21 different players having scored thus far this season. • Vadim Cojocov and Tony Walls lead the team and are tied for fifth in the MASL in goals scored with eight. • Max Ferdinand leads the team and is tied for third in the league in assists with nine. • Only four short handed goals have been scored league wide thus far this season. Lucas Almeida has scored one of them. • Stefan Mijatovic leads the team and the league in blocked opponent shots with 15. Magui Souza is second on the team and in the league with 14. • The Ambush come into today’s game in fourth place out of seven active teams in the 2021 regular season standings. A #""6 AT T-3 STARS C"M94+ 94T" T-IS +AM3 • Due to the pandemic, the Stars have the difficult task of playing all their 2021 regular season games either on the road or as the home team at neutral sites. • Goalkeeper Chris Toth has started four of the Stars’ seven games and ranks fourth in the league in goals against average (5.23) and third in save percentage (.714). • Player and head coach Nick Perera ranks sixth the league in points per game average with 1.8 • Midfielder Micheal Ramos is right behind Perera in that same category with 1.7. • Perera is tied for second in the league in power play goals with two. • Only four short handed goals have been scored league wide thus far this season.
