Freedom of Information Request

Information Requested

I would like to make a Freedom of Information (FOI) request to West Council (WDC) to provide information on the City Region City Deal. This specifically relates to the proposed to Bridge. Can you please answer the following questions:

How much money has WDC spent, or future projected costs, on all, 1. expenditure associated with this project for each financial year?

2. What Meetings has Provost William Hendrie (or his deputy or Baillie) attended with the Glasgow City Region Cabinet or any other related meetings?

3. Does WDC have any other plans for funding through Glasgow City Region City Deal funding?

4. What meetings has the Planning Committee Chair Councillor Jim Finn or a substitute Councillor attended with the Glasgow City Region Cabinet or any other related meetings?

5. What was the agreed date for the Independent Traffic Assessment to be provided to WDC and how much did this cost WDC?

6. How many meetings has the management of Clyde Shopping Centre had with any Council employee/officer/manager/official or Councillor in relation to the proposed bridge?

Response

West Dunbartonshire Council would advise that this Renfrewshire Council would be better placed to answer the questions raised above as they are the lead authority for this project.

Our answers to your questions are as follows –

1. Council is refusing this request under Section 25 of the Freedom of Information () Act 2002 – Information Otherwise Accessible. 2. West Dunbartonshire Council is refusing this request under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 – Notice that information is not held. 3. See answer 1 above. 4. The scope of this question is too wide as we would have to ask every Council officer – over 5000 employees – what information they hold. We are therefore refusing this request under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland0 Act 2002 – Excessive Cost of Compliance.
