Dr. Sydney Moise, Cornell University will conduct cardiovascular examinations to determine possible congenital and inherited heart conditions. Dogs having a clear heart will be issued a certificate stating such. Dogs found to have some sort of heart irregularity will be referred to a specialist. All exams are confidential. No appointments are needed, walk in only. Clinic will be open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Saturday, October 2, 2021 (Lunch break at Noon) Rates are $45 per dog.

Wine Country Circuit - ``Come Camping With Us'' SAMPSON STATE PARK OFFICE HOURS During the dog show the Park Office will be open the following hours: Wednesday - September 29, 2021 - 8:00 AM until 10:00 P.M. Thursday, Friday and Saturday - 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM *Anyone arriving before or after these hours will stay in the parking lot adjacent to the park office. Register as soon as possible after 8:00 AM. ``Due to presence of wildlife rabies in this area - all campers MUST show a valid rabies certificate for each dog in the park!'' Campfires are allowed on sites with fire pits. Firewood is available to purchase within the park or from local vendors. It is illegal to bring firewood into the area from further away than a 50 mile radius.

Cornell University Animal Hospital will be the Emergency facility. Open 24 hours a day. It is located in Ithaca, NY about a one hour drive from the show site. Lake Country Lure Coursers will again be offering trials, CAT tests and FASTCAT tests this year. FASTCATS will be offered on Thursday and Friday (2 per day). CAT tests and lure coursing trials on Saturday & Sunday, with an open roll call to accomodate conflicts. Sighthound lure coursing trials will start at noon and will not conflict with breed judging, for those that would like to do both. Entries are limited for all events. Information will be released as it becomes available from the AKC. 3 Camping Information for 2021 New Information No reservations will be accepted if received before Tuesday, August 10, 2021 with a post mark prior to Monday, August 9, 2021. Reservations must be sent with the "No Signature required" waiver. Please use internet tracking instead. Absolutely no individually hand delivered reservations.

Due to the rising cost of overnight mail, I will honor forms and payment mailed to me with a postmark of August 9th, 2021 the same as an overnight mailed to me. The Campground loops contains 243 sites with electric hookups. One camper per site. The overflow areas have 255 spaces, with no hookups. These camp sites are closer to the show site. No sites have water hookups but water is available at several places through the park. Reservations accepted by mail until Thursday, September 23rd. After this time you may call the camping coordinator (Mona) at 607-738-6487. NO SITES MAY BE RESOLD BY THE SITE HOLDER. Each site will only be allowed two extra motorized vehicles. One motorhome and two vehicles or if trailer, 2 vehicles included in camping fee. All other vehicles are $6.00 per vehicle per night and must register with park upon arrival. Parties assigned electric sites will be charged $140 for four nights. Overflow sites will be charged $100 for four nights. If you pay for electric sites but instead receive a non electric site, you will receive a refund when checking in. Anyone not staying all four nights will receive a non electric site. All payments must be in US funds. Generator use hours are 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. This is enforced by the park. Handicap sites are limited to 15 electric sites. Handicap Certificate is required. Please do not ask for additional campsites for those not authorized to camp in this area. There are NO handicap parking spaces for motorhomes on show site. Handicap parking for cars only. Once the 15 sites are gone, there are no other sited guaranteed so reserve as soon as allowed. All campers not making reservations prior to the closing date will pay at the park on a cash only basis.

No Buses in 2021 "Height restriction for Underpass". The underpass on Route 96A, just north of the park has a height restriction of 12 foot 11 inches. Due to the presence of wildlife rabies in this area, all campers must show a valid rabies certificate for each dog brought into the park. These will be checked at the park office when checking in. No dog will be allowed to stay in the park without a current certificate. Dogs must be kept on a leash in the park and no dog is to be left unattended in exercise pens.

6 CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS - Refunds (subject to a $10.00 service charge) for reservations will be issued ONLY if cancelled in writing or E-mail by September 23 at the address on the camping form. To give you some indication of the distance in the park, it is exactly 8/10 of a mile from the entrance of Loop 5 to the show site. (See Map). No Buses in 2021 1.) All requests for campsites will be assigned in the order that they are received in the mail starting on August 10. (4 day campers having first priority as mentioned above.) NO HAND DELIVERED FORMS ACCEPTED. To have electric you must camp all 4 nights - Wednesday thru Saturday 2.) Parties wishing to be on adjacent sites (ONE PER SITE) will have to send in their reservations together in ONE ENVELOPE. NO EXCEPTIONS. This applies to breed specific groups also! 3.) The New York State Park Police and Park Security will be patrolling the site areas to ensure that campsites are occupied only by the persons to whom the camping permit was issued. No camper units or any other vehicles will be allowed to remain in the park overnight unless they are registered to and occupying a specific assigned site. 7.) Sites will be held until 12:00 Noon ONLY after the check in date. (i.e., Reservations for Thursday would be held until Friday noon only). At that time the site will be reassigned to another party. NEW YORK STATE PARK POLICE will be patrolling the grounds 24 hours a day. All speed zones and one way signs within the park MUST be observed and will be strictly enforced. 9 Sampson State Park is a picturesque 1852 acre park with four miles of spectacular shoreline on beautiful . The park has developed 245 spacious camp sites with electrical hookups, (water available at several locations) has modern bathhouses adjacent to all sites, picnic tables and fireplaces, and hundreds of acres of lawn. The park also has a modern marina with 126 berths, boat launching facilities, swimming beaches, playgrounds and playing fields, concession stands as well as pay phones and trailer dumping stations. ROUTES TO SHOW From New York State Thruway - Exit 42. Route 14 South to Routes 5 & 20. East on Routes 5 & 20 to Route 96A South. Continue on 96A South approximately 11.5 miles to Sampson State Park. From South - from Watkins Glen take Route 414 North to Ovid. At the Red Light turn Left onto Route 96A North. Continue approximately 6 miles to Sampson State Park.

"Heights Restriction for Underpass" ...The underpass on Route 96A, just north of Sampson State Park has a height restriction of 12 foot 11 inches. If your motorhome is taller than this, and you are coming from the north, you will need to go to the towns of Waterloo or Seneca Falls and take Route 96 or Route 414 South, to the town of Ovid, then turn North (right) on Route 96A and go 6 miles to the park entrance.
