THE GEODEMOGRAPHICAL FEATURES IN THE RAUT’S HYDROGRAPHIC BASIN PhD student Nadejda CIOCAN, ASEM Raut river basin is the largest hydrographic basin located entirely in Moldova. Its inside surface includes approximate 23% of the country, including almost all the districts of Donduseni, Drochia, Floresti, Singerei, Telenesti, Orhei and Balti. The evolution of demographic phenomenon of recent years shows that there have been substantial changes in the Raut basin population. As a result of external migration of the population and reducing the birth rate in the period 2010-2015, the population in Raut river basin was reduced by 9.1 thousand people. The main demographic indicators are observed decreasing mortality and increasing by 0,8‰ to 0,1‰ birth. Such natural balance is negative (-0.7‰) and the population is reduced. But if it keeps decreasing mortality and increasing birth rates, in the future will attest to slow growth in population in this area. Introduction The progress of any economic or social activities, the society existence in general is in-conceivable, taking abstraction of the human collectivity and the vital geographical space of it. This fact explains and the population knowledge necessity at the hydrographic basins level, that will make available the report between geographic factors and demographic processes. The lack of permanent and relevant statistical information creates uncertainties and slows the realization of some assembly studies in the Raut river basin. The geo-demographic features studies in the Raut river basin, has as a purpose the establishment of a certain trends and legitimates in the evolution of the demographic processes, both in dynamics and space.

AO Centrul Naţional de Mediu Titlul Proiectului: Rîurile noastre – provocarea apelor transfrontaliere Obiectivul primar: îmbunătăţirea managementului apelor din bazinul fluviului Nistru, prin implicarea comunităţilor în acţiuni de monitorizare şi îmbunătăţire a calitaţii apei acestuia CONTEXTUL PROIECTULUI FOTO Centrul Naţional de Mediu propune să promoveze managementul integral al resurselor de apă din bazinul afluentului fluviului Nistru – rîul Bîc prin acţiuni de promovare a creşterii debitului de apă în amonte de mun. Chişinău şi căutării soluţiilor de stopare a cultivării produselor agricole în aval de mun. Chişinău, care sunt irigate din r. Bîc şi consumate de întreaga regiune a acestuia. Micşorarea debitului de apă în amonte de Chişinău este constatată de toţi locuitorii din raioanele Călăraşi şi Străşeni, totodată se regăseşte în raportul pe starea mediului bazinului r. Bîc, elaborat de Centrul Naţional de Mediu în 2012. Conform acestuia, 45% din izvoarele rîului în amonte de Chişinău sunt captate, indicatorii de poluare depăşind Monitoringul biologic realizat de către elevii gimnaziului cu mult normele admisibile. Astfel, proiectul propune Romaneşti, r. Străşeni amenajarea şi conectarea izvoarelor la rîu in s. Temeleuţi şi implicarea celorlalte localităţi în elaborarea şi implementarea politicii locale “+3 izvoare – în fiecare an”. Astfel, vor fi implicate şi alte 25 de primării în amenajarea şi conectarea izvoarelor la rîu, fapt care va contribui anual la creşterea debitului de apă în DATE DESPRE PROIECT bazinul r. As a result of the compact, a 96 km section of a critical, highly deteriorated road connecting Moldova to Ukraine was rebuilt to international standards. In addition, 10 centralized irrigation systems that had fallen into disrepair, covering over 11,500 hectares, were upgraded, with management transferred to Water User Associations (WUAs) created under the compact to ensure stainability. While information collected in 2015 indicates a lower impact of the irrigation project than estimated, other infrastructure and legal reforms enacted during the compact are key to transforming Moldova’s agricultural sector into one focused on growth. Agriculture is the backbone of the economy and the country once served as an important exporter of high-value agriculture within the Soviet Union. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Moldova lost its position as a key exporter of fresh produce, and its extensive irrigation systems and post-harvest cold chain 1 fell into disrepair.
