Pharmacies The closest pharmacy is SuperPharm, located in the mall by the Rehovot train station. There are others on Herzl St. and inside the shopping mall, where the central bus station is.

Grocery stores There is a small grocery store in the Institute, located near the (northern) entrance at the Bloch Gate (which is closer to the train station). Its hours are Sunday - Thursday, from 07:00 - 19:00, and Fridays, from 07:00 - 14:00. There is also a supermarket which offers also many imported goods called Tiv Tam, 2 Oppenheimer St. (down the stairs in the mall by the Rehovot train station).

Post-office The closest post office is located in 70 Derech . Derech Yavne is the street located right in front of the Institute's main gate. The post office is on the first block on your left hand side if you're facing the street with your back to the Weizmann gate. Phone numbers: 08-9460771, 08-9463044. ATM Machines Foreign ATM cards are accepted by the ATM machine located in the lobby of the Leumi Bank, corner of Herzl and Weizmann Streets, and by the ATM machine located in the lobby of the Dweck Campus Center building (aka Jubilee Plaza, number 31 on the map).

Taxi Ordinary taxis are flagged down on the street or called on the phone. If you call, the dispatcher asks both for your address and your destination. If he quotes a fare over the phone it is binding. Within cities, fares are usually according to the meter ("l'fi mon'eh"). Between cities, a schedule of rates fixed by the Ministry of Transport applies. Surcharges apply for driving between 21:30 and 06:00, as well as for fares on Shabbat and Jewish holidays. On flat-rate fares (usually intercity rides), a small tip is generally appreciated.

Egged Central Bus Stations The Egged Central Bus Station in Rehovot is located at the rear of the Rehovot Mall. For more information, call 03-694-8888, or access http://www.egged.co.il/Eng/. Popular Bus Lines : Lines #434, #435 Leaves from the Rehovot Central Bus Station only. North via Rishon le'Zion: Line #174 Bus stops to the right of the main and Bloch gates. Train Trains have become a popular and convenient way of getting around, and the cabins are modern and comfortable. has an efficient, easy-to-use web site, in English, with current schedules, prices, etc. The Rehovot station is located within easy walking distance (to the north) of the Institute. These are taxis (usually minibuses) that follow the exact route of busy bus lines and pick up passengers along the way, usually at regular bus stops. As a rule, they charge about the same as the bus fare (or slightly less). Usually they only leave the station of initial departure when they are full, or have given up hope of picking up more passengers. They are most active around the hours that the lines are otherwise busiest (e.g. commuter hours). You can take them from the bus stop by the main gate but since signs are in Hebrew you will need to ask the driver if he's going to Tel Aviv.
