One of the most important aspects is the teaching and guidance towards the pilgrims which considered as the heart of the holy journey. There is a perception that the approach to pilgrimage and umrah brought by TH is too narrow, rigid, harsh and unfriendly to the congregation. This perception invokes the credibility of TH's credibility in conducting Malaysian pilgrims. Therefore, this paper will highlight the TH guidance method for Malaysian pilgrims and make a brief assessment of it. The study used document analysis methods and interviews and then analyzed using content analysis and comparison methods. Studies show that TH has its own approach and manhunt in its guidance to Malaysian pilgrims. -

On the other hand women receive different treatment depending on socio, religious cultural setting they find themselves. However their treatment under Islamic Law (sharia) attracts more controversy, criticism and even outright condemnation than treatment under any other setting. Many social critics and Gender minded persons know and frown at the rule that under Islamic law of succession a male child is entitled to twice the share of his female counterpart. On the other hand some Muslims out of sentiment and over zealousness came up with logical but not legally based arguments in defence of the rule. Consequently, this paper is design to respectively educate the two groups that (I) the rule changes from time to time in fact sometimes a female heir gets more than twice the share of her male counterpart. (II) Allah’s rule/command need no cosmetics from anybody as such those logical arguments should never be relied upon in order to defend or justify the rule. Tabung Haji an Inspiration to Muslim World - Najib Bernama June 5, 2014
Tabung Haji An Inspiration to Muslim World - Najib Bernama June 5, 2014 KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak said Lembaga Tabung Haji's success in managing haj pilgrims and becoming a leading Syariah-compliant fund manager in the world is an inspiration and example to the rest of the Muslim world. Expressing his pride in Tabung Haji's success, the prime minister congratulated depositors who entrusted Tabung Haji and its employees for the efforts rendered. "Without the efforts and contributions of its employees, Tabung Haji will not be a great Islamic institution as can be seen today," he said when launching a coffee-table book on Tabung Haji to mark its 50th anniversary here Thursday night. Published with the cooperation of the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama), the 197-page book entitled "TH - Citra Kejayaan Malaysia" documented Tabung Haji's evolution and achievements since its inception in 1963. Najib expressed his confidence that Tabung Haji would find ways to improve its services ranging from haj pilgrimage management, savings and investments to enable it to continue to be an institution that champion the welfare of Muslims. "Hence, Tabung Haji's initiative to publish a coffee-table book to record its 50 years of achievements is an appropriate step. "Significant events during the evolution of Tabung Haji can be documented so that the success story can be told and used as a reference by future generations," he said. Published in Malay and English, the book features black and white as well as colour pictures and contains seven chapters, namely The Beginning, History of Haj, The Road to Success, Serving the Interest of Depositors, The Spiritual Journey, Empowering Growth, and Staying Strong.
