The Charolais breed has a proven, consistent track record of performance in the feedlot which is only gaining momentum. Charolais influenced calves are simply making cow-calf producers and feedlot owners more money. We are truly the “Identifiable” breed and believe our influence will continue as long as we continue to stay focused on the long term goal of the beef industry – profitability. The Alberta Charolais Association hosts a few key events during the year. In late June we annually host a Breeder’s tour where breeders are showcased in various regions of the two provinces. This complimentary tour has attracted over 200 enthusiasts the past 3 years and is a no miss event. -
