We’ll set sail from ’s commercial pier and cruise around Alicia Island aboard our exclusive boat, the Akawaia. There, we’ll watch for seabirds like the steamer duck, sheldgoose, kelp gull, seagull, and snowy sheathbill. LAPATAIA EXPEDITION

The expedition departs from the End of the World train station and reaches the National Park, where we’ll visit Ensenada Bay with its stunning view of the Andes - and where the southernmost post o ce in the world is located! We’ll continue on toward Lake Roca, surrounded by lush forests and mountains, before hiking the trails around Lapataia Bay. Set sail from Ushuaia’s pier on our exclusive ship, the Akawaia, onward to Alicia Island. LAND We’ll depart from the hotel and head north toward Laguna Esmeralda. After enjoying the Andean forest views, we’ll make our way through broad ON valley views mountains, peat bogs, rivers, and local flora and fauna. Once we arrive at the lagoon, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch overlooking the landscape: mountains, glaciers, and forest, not to mention the water’s unique color. The duration of the hike itself is around an hour and a half each way, with a 200-meter incline.

TRAILS IN THE PARK

Tierra del Fuego National Park is located 12 kilometers from Ushuaia; it’s where the forest, the Beagle Channel, and the Andes mountain range come together. National Highway No. 3 allows us to cover the 21 kilometers that separate us from the park’s entrance to the famous Lapataia Bay that attracts visitors from all over the world, not only for its beauty but also as the end of the Pan-American Highway, which begins all the way up in Alaska. The winding roads oer infinite End of the World views with myriad colors, lakes, and mountains.

TRAILS IN THE PARK - FULL DAY

We’ll head toward the National Park, discovering the geography, flora, and fauna in-depth. We’ll take various 45-minute hikes - with some help from our vehicles along the way - that showcase the beauty and wonder of the area. During this activity, we will see the Pipo River Waterfall, Ensenada Bay, Lake Acigami, the Interpretation Center, the Island trail, the Coastal trail (approx. three hours), Laguna Verde, and Las Lengas, finishing up at Lapataia Bay.

SUSANA SUMMIT ADVENTURE

Close to the hotel lies Mount Susana; its special location allows us to take in views of the Beagle Channel and Ushuaia in all their glory. We’ll walk from the bay near the hotel toward the mountain, hiking up to 625 meters above sea level. After reaching the panoramic lookout point, we’ll enjoy a delicious tasting of local dishes prepared by our chef.

HIKE TO THE LAGUNAS GEMELAS

Leaving the hotel, we’ll head north toward the Garibaldi Pass, where the access point for the Lagunas Gemelas trail lies. From there we’ll embark upon a two-hour hike around the lagoons and reach the lookout points at Lakes Cami and Escondido. Afterward, we’ll head to the Villa Marina estancia to enjoy a delicious barbecue featuring Fuegian lamb.

LAKES, SNOWMOBILING, AND LUNCH If you’re eager to have some fun and play in the snow, the snowmobile, cross-country skiing, and dogsled activities are perfect alternatives. Heading North to Lago Escondido and Lago Fagnano, we’ll stop at the Carbajal Valley lookout point. The Garibaldi Pass lookout point is another can’t-miss stop that lets you take in the natural beauty that the island provides. VINCIGUERRA GLACIER ADVENTURE

Considered by both local mountaineers and experts alike the best hike that has to oer. On the ascent, we’ll encounter a variety of surroundings, including peat bogs, rivers, creeks, waterfalls, and the stunningly beautiful Laguna de los Témpanos, located at 725 meters above sea level at the base of the glacier. We’ll make our way there to explore its caves, crevasses, and moraines. Your eorts will be handsomely rewarded by the overall experience and the power of the landscape.

LAND EXPEDITION This activity is a complete sensorial experience. Snowmobiles will pick us ON up in the evening and take us on a four-kilometer ride through the lenga woods. We’ll then try out some snowshoes and hike through the darkness on a completely unique trail. From there, we head to Cerro Castor in the Lasifashaj Valley, reaching the hotel’s Ski Point for a delicious dinner, some wine, and time to relive the experience. Afterwards, we’ll return to the hotel.

SUBANTARCTIC BIRDWATCHING

The marine coasts, mountains, rivers, and wetlands that comprise the Tierra del Fuego National Park’s landscapes are ideal for birdwatching. LEG No. 15522 are exempt from invoicing the Value Added Tax (VAT), in addition to the additional five percent (5%) on the Value Added Tax, according to General Resolution No. 3337. · Rates are subject to possible modification without prior notice. · Payments are to be made in U.S. dollars cash or the Argentine peso equivalent, pursuant to the previous day’s exchange rate published by ’s National Bank.

CANCELLATION POLICY · Cancellations are considered confirmed only when the request is made in writing and has been received and accepted by our sta . · Cancellations made up to 48 hours beforehand will not incur a penalty fee. In the case of a reservation that has been guaranteed via advance payment in full, guests will receive a credit to use on other hotel services. · Cancellations made within 48 hours will be charged a penalty fee equal to 100% of the activity’s value. · Once the activity is underway, the modification, suspension, or interruption on behalf of the guest due to personal reasons will not be eligible for refund or reimbursement.
