1995 , Man of the Atom #44 – “Steel, Meat, & Potatoes, Part 1” January 3 – Phil Seleski’s new identity, Phil Miller, is compromised when he tries to take down a crooked cop named Salvatore Molinari. A section of Las Vegas is destroyed.

January 4 – Phil Seleski continues to struggle with his multiple identities.

January 5 – Gayle, who knows about his dual identity, finds Phil’s gun, fires it and gets hurt on the recoil.

Solar, Man of the Atom #45 – “Steel, Meat, & Potatoes, Part 2 – All Along the Watchtower” January 5 – Phil Miller’s partner Paul is killed. Solar brings him back to life by transporting him to unreality. Paul is empowered but wants to die. He forces Solar to make him mortal again so he can kill himself. Phil’s dual identity unravels as Gayle finds out about his other life and girlfriend.

Phil and Gayle fight. He leaves Earth to explore space and finds himself slipping through time. He travels back billions of years. (Conjecture: Before Solar, Man of the Atom #49.)(Editor’s Note: See Brave New World Appendix.)

X-O Manowar #42 – “First Impressions” January – Aric returns to New Orleans to stop the destruction of his nightclubs. Ishmael, who survived his last encounter with , and Blister are responsible for the clubs destruction. Aric encounters Shadowman and thinking he’s responsible attacks him. Shadowman turns the XO armor into liquid with the darque power and is then attacked by Blister.

Shadowman #37 – “Aric” January – Shadowman and Blister fight. Blister leads Shadowman to Ishmael. Nettie helps Aric repair his armor and the two make love. Aric saves Shadowman from Ishmael.

Shadowman #38 – “Wild Card” January – Aric leaves New Orleans. Nettie heals Ishmael and makes him promise to leave Shadowman alone. She also has him owe her a death. Shadowman and Blister fight again after Blister steals Shadowman’s saxophone.

Harbinger #40 – “The Pursuit of Happiness” January – The B-Squad heads to Washington D.C. where they are confronted by the . After a fierce battle Sam takes off on his own.

Harbinger #41 – “Postcards” January – The Harbinger attacks Sam and kills him.

An Earthquake hits Nebraska. (Conjecture: Before Shadowman #39)

Shadowman #39 – “Funeral Rap” January – With the help of Ishmael, Shadowman defeats the Jackson Square mugger.

Bloodshot #27 – “Rampage, Part 1” January – and the Secret Weapons team go to North Korea on a mission. They are captured by Iwatsu and brought to Japan. Iwatsu injects Bloodshot with nanites that change his programming. The Secret Weapons team breaks out of the cell Iwatsu put them in, and are attacked by Bloodshot, who has no memory of who is.

Secret Weapons #20 – “Rampage, Part 2” January – Bloodshot defeats the Secret Weapons. They return to London and learn that Bloodshot has followed them there. Bloodshot defeats them in a second confrontation.

Bloodshot #28 – “Rampage, Part 3” January – Bloodshot attempts to kill Neville Alcott and is stopped by . The Secret Weapons team and Ninjak track Bloodshot to a British Intelligence facility and are caught in an explosion.

Secret Weapons #21 – “Rampage, Part 4” January – Bloodshot disappears after a fight with Ninjak and the Secret Weapons team. Sinclair learns that he doesn’t need to wear the suit to have the powers of Para-Man. Ninjak works on a cure for Bloodshot with old blood samples. Ax escapes from his prison at MI-6.

Bloodshot #29 – “Rampage, the Conclusion” January – Ax learns where Neville Alcott is hiding. Bloodshot makes another attempt on Alcott’s life. Ninjak is able to cure Bloodshot with the help of Ax.

Eternal Warrior #33 – “Mortal Kin, Part 1 – Sharper than a Serpent’s Tooth” January – A serial killer kills Rosalie Thompkins, his sixth victim, all of whom are former paramours of Gilad. He frames Gilad for the murders. Gilad is shot several times by the police while fleeing into the Hudson River.

Eternal Warrior #34 – “Mortal Kin, Part 2 – Feint and Parry” January – Jesse Durant, the FBI investigator assigned to find Gilad, is revealed to be Gilad’s son and the serial killer killing Gilad’s former girlfriends. Durant tries to kill Magdalia but Gilad stops him. Durant escapes into the subway and Gilad follows him. The two fight and Gilad’s arm is run over by a subway train.

Eternal Warrior #35 – “Mortal Kin, Part 3 – Fatal Thrust” January – Durant attempts to kill Magdalia again. A one-armed Gilad fights and kills him.

Ninjak #11 – “Canterbury Tales, Part 1 – The Pilgrim’s Tale” January – A construction crew in Canterbury, England discovers a series of underground chambers. Ninjak, concerned that the newly found underground passages might lead to the underground passages under his house, investigates. A group of Russians and Webnet agents are also interested in the ruins.

Ninjak #12 – “Canterbury Tales, Part 2 – The Knight’s Tale” January – Ninjak stops the Russian and Webnet agents who were interested in the underground passages. The passages are blown up destroying future hopes of excavation.

The Visitor #3 – “Illusions” February – Shawn Naughton, a former industrialist turned politician, sets bombs in inner city Los Angeles schools. The Visitor finds and disarms them and then exposes the councilman.

Regan Howell travels out west to find Andy’s Uncle Bile. (Conjecture: Before Hunter #26)

Ninjak #14 – “Cry Wolf, Part 1” February – Ninjak is sent to Dorillac Chateau in France. Wassily Borkov, a Webnet agent, plans to defect. Once there Borkov kills an agent posing as Colin King.

Ninjak #15 – “Cry Wolf, Part 2” February – Ninjak, who’s posing as Neville Alcott, attacks Borkov. He learns that Borkov is the legendary White Wolf, a former Soviet agent. Borkov wants revenge on Ninjak for killing his son in Canterbury. Ninjak escapes, the Chateau is destroyed and Borkov disappears.

Turok Dinosaur Hunter #28 – “Quetzalcoatl” February – Turok returns from the Lost Land. He travels to La Paz, Bolivia to help with a fight against . He kills two Tyrannosaurs Rex.

February – Mr. Freyht, a member of the Harbinger Foundation, hires Mr. Casterman to investigate the paranormal activities that takes place in Acclamation, Oregon. (PunX #1)

X-O Manowar #43 – “Serenity’s Boys” February – Sister Serenity, an agent of Crescendo, attacks a dinner party hosted by Aric. With the aid of Randy and Turok, Aric is able to repel the invaders. Ken Clarkson is kidnapped by Sister Serenity.

Ninjak #16 – “Plague, Part 1” February – Arkady Borkov’s body is reanimated. It is infected with a deadly pathogen transmitted by contact. Ninjak chases after him in the London sewers.

Ninjak #17 – “Plague, Part 2” February – Arkady Borkov goes to his father’s London estate. Ninjak learns Wassily Borkov is still alive. Arkady is destroyed and Ninjak and Wassily go their separate ways.

X-O Manowar Birthquake! Prequel February – Crescendo, who has kidnapped Ken Clarkson, tortures him and forces him to tell her about Aric and the XO armor.

Bloodshot #36 – “The Blood is the Life” February 28 – Bloodshot goes to New Orleans to bust up a drug ring connected to a series of bizarre murders. He meets Papa Juju, also known as Andre Maurice Jubert, and Ayisha and learns about the local legend of the Bloofer Lady.

Bloodshot #37 –“Lazarus Rising” March 1 – Bloodshot learns that Ayisha was behind the 1993 “vampire killer” murders in Europe, and behind the recent drug related murders in New Orleans. He also learns that Papa Juju manufactures drugs. Juju kills Ayisha. Bloodshot destroys his drug ring and Juju is killed.

March – Ninjak goes undercover on the Bruntland, a commercial fishing ship, looking for Webnet agents. (Ninjak #18)

The Visitor #4 – “Facades” March – The Visitor battles a disgruntled Hollywood writer who has designed a power suit. The Harbinger interrupts their battle.

The Visitor #5 – “Make Believe” March – The Visitor and the Harbinger fight and the Harbinger is defeated. The Visitor confronts Toyo Harada.

Eternal Warrior #36 – “Lest Darkness Fall” March – Gilad thwarts the Fenris Groups attempt to blow up New York with a nuclear bomb. The Fenris group, led by Angstom, seeks to destroy civilization so it can start anew. Gilad kills Angstrom.

March – Hideyoshi Iwatsu begins reconstructing Musashi Labs. (Bloodshot #44)

X-O Manowar #44 – “Reflections, Part 1” March – Aric, who has been captured by Crescendo, is attached to a device that manipulates his mind. He believes that he’s in the year 410 and back with his wife Diedre.

X-O Manowar #45 – “Reflections, Part 2” March – Aric begins to see through the illusions and breaks free of Crescendo’s mind control device.

X-O Manowar #46 – “Reflections, Part 3” March – Aric frees himself. Crescendo’s Vizier warns her that Aric is coming for her. Aric finds Ken and the dead body of Randy. Ken tells Aric that Crescendo has total control of Orb Industries and has been liquidating its assets. Aric drags Ken along for his confrontation with Crescendo.

X-O Manowar #47 – “Reflections, Part 4” March – Aric kills the Vizier. With the help of a dying Ken Clarkson Aric is able to defeat Crescendo.

Ninjak #18 – “Icebreaker” March - Ninjak is able to upload a computer virus into Webnet’s mainframe while undercover on the Bruntland.

Ninjak #19 March 19 – Ninjak assists in a MI-5 attack on a Webnet facility in the Baltic Sea. Bloodshot attacks a Webnet facility in Amsterdam. Wassily Borkov is kidnapped by Webnet agents.

March 20 – Bloodshot attacks a Webnet facility in Scotland. Ninjak goes after Dr. Silk alone and is captured.

Ninjak #20 – “Breaking the Web, Part 2 – Delusions” March 24 – Ninjak is drugged by Dr. Silk and suffers from intense delusions.

Ninjak #21 March 24 – Ninjak is able to break free of Dr. Silk’s mind control, and with the help of Bloodshot is able to capture Dr. Silk and destroy Webnet.

X-O Manowar #48 – “Pyre” March – Turok visits Aric but Aric wants nothing to do with him. After a fight Turok tells him that they are no longer blood brothers. Paul is able to communicate with Aric again through the armor. Aric burns his house to the ground.

Late March – A research facility in the Nevada desert is abandoned after a virus spreads through the personnel working there. (The Visitor #7)

March – Having travelled from the year 2045, Proteus, a nanite robot, kills two graduate students at MIT who are working on nanite technology. Proteus kills Thomas Belkin, a man with nanite technology in his arm, on the subway in New York City. (Bloodshot #30)

April – Tom Morgan asks Bloodshot for advice on the Thomas Belkin murder. (Bloodshot #30)

Bloodshot #30 – “Enter: Proteus” April – Bloodshot loses a leg fighting Proteus but is able to grow it back in three hours.

Bloodshot #31 – “Shut Down!” April – Bloodshot lures Proteus to the Artic. With the use of several high powered explosives he entombs Proteus in ice.

X-O Manowar #49 – “Losing Control” April – Paul asserts his dominance over the armor by taking it away from Aric and using it to remake himself. Aric and Paul square off to determine who shall control the armor.

X-O Manowar #50-X – “Transformations, Part 1” April – Aric fights against Paul and regains control of the armor. Paul’s consciousness finds the shattered shell of Shanhara and he becomes Alloy.

X-O Manowar #50-O – “Transformations, Part 2” April – After a fierce battle Aric defeats Alloy.

Visitor #6 – “Obsession” April – The Visitor has an extraterrestrial encounter in California and flies to Nevada following a UFO. Major Benson, also in Nevada looking for proof of extraterrestrials, runs into the Visitor and accuses him of being an alien. Benson is abducted by who take the form of men in black.

The Visitor #7 – “Blood on Your Hands” April – The Visitor searches for the ship that abducted Major Benson and finds an abandoned research facility. Inside is Ninjak, who is infected by the Webnet vampire virus which he reveals may have extraterrestrial origins. The Visitor helps Ninjak find a cure.

X-O Manowar #51 – “Lummox” April – Lummox attacks Aric in Europe, believing him to be responsible for his horrible disfigurements. Aric defeats him.

X-O Manowar #52 – “A Blast from the Past” April – While trying to escape Earth’s atmosphere Aric is attacked by one of Crescendo’s troopers. Aric defeats him and it’s revealed that Crescendo’s spirit was in control of the trooper’s body. Aric flies off into space.

April – Gilad breaks up a bank heist in New York. (Eternal Warrior #37)

April – Gilad tells Migdalia about the time he fought the Spider Alien Queen. (Eternal Warrior #38)

Bloodshot #32 – “Vampires in the Village” April – Bloodshot learns about a group in New York who believe they are vampires. One of the ‘vampires’ was bitten by a Webnet agent infected with the vampire virus. The drug enhances strength but also makes you crave blood. Bloodshot’s friend Malcolm, who warned him about the vampires, becomes infected with the virus.

Bloodshot #33 – “Bloodshot is Mine!!” April – Bloodshot, with the help of a vampire hunter employed by Ninjak named Frost, is able to defeat the vampires and cure Malcolm.

May – A string of murders begin taking place in Dallas, Texas. (Turok Dinosaur Hunter #29)

Bloodshot #34 – “Devil Inside” May – The nanites in Bloodshot’s blood begin to duplicate and then physically split from Bloodshot forming Rampage. Bloodshot is left in a weakened state after the ordeal.

Bloodshot #35 – “Rampage Lives!!” May – Bloodshot and Rampage fight. Rampage disappears.

May – Lenny, a young man living in Valiant, Oklahoma, undergoes brain trauma after an accident. He gains the ability to change his form into a 9 foot tall monster. (The Outcast #1)

May – Reverand Vane, the leader of the Church of the Free Mind, is aquitted on murder charges after it is revealed that evidence against him was obtained illegally. (Turok Dinosaur Hunter #29)(Turok Dinosaur Hunter #41)

Turok Dinosaur Hunter #29 – “Man Hunt!, Part 1” May – Turok travels to Dallas, Texas to track down a murderer who leaves writing written in the language of the Rock People. He meets Kru, a member of the Rock People, who has been dressing in Bionisaur skin to commit the murders.

Turok Dinosaur Hunter #30 – “Man Hunt!, Part 2” May – After a fierce battle, Turok defeats Kru.

Ninjak #22 May – Ninjak investigates a man named William Michael Pendragon, a former Webnet agent. Pendragon comes into possession of a weapon of mass destruction. Ninjak defeats Pendragon and diffuses the bomb. (Editor’s Note: This issue takes place over several weeks.)

Eternal Warrior #39 – “Chop Shop” May – Gilad rescues Magdalia’s cousin from having his organs harvested. He learns of an illegal organs cartel and vows to stop it.

Eternal Warrior #40 – “Body Shop” May – Gilad travels to South America and frees women from a camp where they are forced to keep producing children whose organs are harvested.

Shadowman #40 – “Undead Love” May – Anne Stoker, the gothic novelist who writes about vampires, believes that she becomes a vampire and begins killing people. Shadowman, with the help of Nettie and Marcia put a stop to her killing spree.

May 21 – The Visitor makes the front page of the Los Angeles Times. (The Visitor #13)

May – Ivar the visits the Schomburg Center in New York City to learn the fate of A.C. Jackson. (Conjecture: Assumes the final page of this issue happened in the present.)(Timewalker #13)

The Visitor #8 – “Revelation” May – The Harbinger locates the Visitor’s underground cavern and attacks him. Charlene Dupree also discovers the cavern and uses her powers to defend the Visitor. She knocks the Harbinger’s mask off and reveals that the Harbinger is Peter Stanchek.

The Visitor #9 – “Pete Stanchek is the Harbinger?!” May – After being revealed, the Harbinger returns to the Harbinger Foundation in Los Angeles and confronts Toyo Harada about his origins. The Harbinger flees when the two start to battle.

Shadowman #41 – “Under Arrest” June 4 – Papa Napoleon and Lt. Szymanski meet to discuss getting rid of Shadowman.

June 6 – Shadowman beats up a group of Papa Napoleon’s men.

June 7 – Jack Boniface is arrested after Lt. Szymanski accuses him of being Shadowman.

Eternal Warrior #41 – “Slaughter House” June – Gilad kidnaps the leader of the Sarn and the Virlyat people from the nation of Groznia, and forces them to negotiate.

Eternal Warrior #42 – “Common Ground” June – Despite killing many soldiers Gilad fails to get the two sides of the Groznian conflict to come to a resolution. He reunites with Edward Brisbane and decides to work with him fighting against the fall of civilization.

The Visitor #10 – “A Killing Frost” June – The Visitor fights Lafitte, a Harbinger, who has the ability to control the weather.

Shadowman #42 – “Night Court” June – Jack Boniface is put on trial with court set to take place in the evening so it can be proven that Jack is Shadowman. Nettie undoes the voodoo that made Jack into Shadowman. Sandria and Max St. James release the spirit of Master Darque. In court Jack becomes Shadowman despite Nettie’s efforts. He runs out of court declaring he’s Shadowman and a mistrial is called.

Shadowman #43 – “The End?” June – While being chased by reporters Jack climbs atop the Duteau Building. When the sun rises and he loses his powers he jumps.

PunX #1 – “Street Smarts” June 12 – Mr. Freyht, a member of the Harbinger Foundation, continues investigating the paranormal activity that takes place in Acclamation, Oregon. (Conjecture: We know the issue takes place in the second week of June.)

PunX #2 June – Frontline fights former Secret Weapons agent Tank. Caul, a harbinger with the ability to inhabit several people at once, begins taking over residents in Acclamation, Oregon.

PunX #3 June – Toyo Harada orders the Acclamation Project suspended, Mr. Fryht to be dealt with and the Caul to be captured.

Ninjak #23 – “Uncharted Territory, Part 1” June – Ninjak investigates the disappearance of one of his employees, Jason Haynes, off the coast of South America. Ninjak is captured by natives and forced to work in a hard labor camp. There he meets Gabriela Ramirez, a member of Vatican Intelligence. While attempting to escape he and Gabriela are captured. (Editor’s Note: Issue takes place over several days.)

Ninjak #24 – “Uncharted Territory, Part 2” June – Ninjak and Gabriela escape again. Ninjak discovers Arthur Saltzman, a botanist, who is using the plants collected by the workers in the hard labor camp to create a biological weapon without a cure. Ninjak kills Saltzman and frees the workers from the labor camp.

Turok Dinosuar Hunter #41 – “Church of the ‘Poison’ Mind, Part 1” June – Turok decides to bring Reverand Vane, the leader of the Church of the Free Mind, to justice after the murder of Allison Marlowe. While trying to infilitrate the church’s compound he is captured.

Turok Dinosaur Hunter #42 – “Church of the ‘Poison’ Mind, Part 2” June – Turok resists the mind control that Reverand Vane uses on him. Turok forces Vane to confess to the muder of Allison Marlowe and others. Vane’s followers leave him.

June – Ivar the Timewalker discusses counterpoint with his friend Phillip who is a musicologist. Ivar decides to travel to 1961 after their conversation but ends up in the year 1781. (Timewalker #14)

June – Ivar returns from 1781. He asks his friend Phillip about Mozart. (Conjecture: Assumes the prologue and epilogue of this issue take place in the present.) (Timewalker #14.)

Turok Dinosaur Hunter #0 – “Domini Canes” June – Turok takes Andy out on the plains to teach him how to hunt. Turok tells Andy the history of the Kiowa- Apache and about the adventures he had with Andar.

The Visitor #11 – “Blind Abduction” June – The Visitor rescues Charlene Dupre from a cult that plans to sacrifice her.

Bloodshot #38 – “Mercenaries” July – Rampage teams up with Laws and attacks Bloodshot. After a long battle a Harbinger named Wisp shows up and knocks Bloodshot unconscious with her ability to turn herself into toxic fumes.

Bloodshot #39 – “Battlezone” July – Bloodshot regains consciousness and with the help of MI-5 agents, captures Laws. Rampage and Wisp disappear but Bloodshot tracks them down. Bloodshot kills Rampage.

July – While flying above the New River Gorge, Turok, Andy, Regan, Professor Challenger and a film crew enter the Lost Land. (Turok Dinosaur Hunter #31)(Editor’s Note: See Lost Land Appendix.)

Ninjak #25 – “Killzone” July - Aaron Herkovitch, an agent of Webnet, who shares some responsibility for the death of Jessica Alcott, steps forward to confess his crimes to MI-5. Herkovitch requests Ninjak to protect him. During his interrogation Hekovich is poisoned and killed. Sister Serenity attacks the site of the interrogation and Ninjak fights off her men. It’s revealed that Jonathan Rouke, a member of Northern Ireland Intelligence is responsible for Herkovitch’s death.

Gunslinger punches Ivar, the Timewalker. (Conjecture: Assumes this happens in 1995. Ivar says this happened in “1994 or ’95.”) (Timewalker Yearbook #1)

Eternal Warrior #43 – “Armed Militia” July – Gilad goes back under cover as Gil Masters after a bombing in New York City. His goal is bring the para- military group responsible to justice. Several para-military groups hold a rally in North Carolina. There Gilad is attacked by Rebekka Simon, a Jewish woman, who is a member of a coalition fighting against these para-military groups.

Eternal Warrior #44 – “Counter Culture” July – With the help of Simon’s coalition, Gilad is able to drive the para-military organizations back underground.

Solar, Man of the Atom #51 – “Child’s Play” July – Solar returns to Earth’s solar system. On the moon he discovers an alien ship filled with an eclectic collection of aliens. One of the ship’s crew attempts to add Solar to the collection. Solar breaks free and meets the parents of the alien collector. They tell Solar that their ship is marooned on the moon. They begin taking Solar’s powers from him in an attempt to use the sun to power their ship.

Solar, Man of the Atom #52 – “Child’s Play, Part 2” July – Solar frees himself and helps the alien ship get back on course. He goes to Gayle’s house and decides she’s better off without him.

The Visitor #12 – “Questions” July – The Harbinger attacks the Harbinger Foundation in Los Angeles. The Visitor arrives and teams up with the Harbinger to attack Major Benson, who is revealed to be one of the Men in Black. Harada, Chan and Charlene all arrive on the scene of the battle. The Visitor is subdued and his mask is removed.

The Visitor #13 – “The Final Chapter” July – It’s revealed that the Visitor is Peter Stanchek from an alternate future. The Visitor, the Harbinger and Toyo Harada team up to stop the alien threat posed by the Men in Black. The Visitor is killed.

Solar, Man of the Atom #53 – “The Human Factor, Part 1” July – Solar goes to Houston, Texas and works in a homeless shelter hoping to regain his humanity. The streets of Houston are attacked by androids controlled by Garrison Gage, a wealthy man who becomes interested in a partnership with Solar.

Solar, Man of the Atom #54 – “The Human Factor, Part 2” July – Solar defeats the androids. Gage approaches Solar and proposes an alliance. Solar laughs him off and Gage attacks him. Solar easily defeats him.

Ninjak #26 – “Inner Sanctums” July – After a visit to the Vatican, Ninjak agrees to take Gabriela Ramirez on as his trainee.

Eternal Warrior #45 – “Filthy Lucre” August – J.L. Tully, a broker working for the Fenrist Group, double crosses them and steals a large sum of money. Gilad and Brisbane track down Tully to Rio. Gilad is attacked by Fenrist agents.

Eternal Warrior #46 – “Ill Gotten Gains” August – Gilad is able to fight of the Fenrist agents. Tully makes a deal with a Fenrist agent named Amber Finn. The two travel to Johannesburg, South Africa. Gilad and Brisbane follow them. Gilad fights off another attack by Fenrist agents and Tully is brought to justice. Finn disappears.

The Outcast #1 – “Here and Now” August – In Valiant, Oklahoma, Lenny, in his transformed state, is attacked by a pack of hunting dogs. He fights off the dogs and returns home. He has a vision of an alien being who informs Lenny that he genetically implanted himself in one of Lenny’s ancestors and has now been awakened after Lenny’s accident.

X-O Manowar #53 – “Collision Course” August – While travelling through space Aric encounters a Spider Alien vessel. Aric kills the one Spider Alien inside. He learns that an alien race called the Dromak is attacking the Spider Aliens. The Dromak attack the ship he’s on and bring Aric aboard their ship.

X-O Manowar #54 – “Test Run” August – General Krytos of the Dromak decides that he wants control of the XO armor. Aric escapes his imprisonment and is pursued by Dromak soldiers aboard their ship.

X-O Manowar #55 – “Gladiators” August – Aric fights in single combat against the Dromak’s fiercest warrior and defeats him. He confronts Krytos and Krytos reveals that they are in Earth’s orbit and that he is about attack the planet.

X-O Manowar #56 – “Last Stand” August – Aric defeats General Krytos and destroys the Dromak fleet.

X-O Manowar #57 – “Home. Alone.” August – Aric returns to Earth. His control ring is stolen by Gamin. He chases her down and takes back his ring.

September – Edward Brisbane creates a group called the Force, a task force to aid Gilad in preventing the fall of civilization. Brisbane convinces Gilad to go to Djurkistan and pose as Ma’ah Bishmah, a messanger from God. (Eternal Warrior #47)

Bloodshot #40 – “Things Fall Apart” September – Neville Alcott is forced out as head of MI-6. Jillian Alcott’s ex-husband Charles Mirren replaces him. Bloodshot begins working for the Pentagon. He goes to Columbia to track down Julio Cortez, a drug lord. Cortez, who is working for Iwatsu, has Bloodshot’s memories on a disc. Cortez captures Bloodshot and Jillian. Jillian is shot and is bleeding to death.

Bloodshot #41 – “Arena” September – Bloodshot gives Jillian a transfusion of his nanite blood. He escapes imprisonment and systematically takes out Cortez’s men. Jillian, who now has abilities similar to Bloodshot’s, kills Cortez. Bloodshot acquires the disc with his memories.

Bloodshot #42 – “The Past Anew” September – Jillian is rushed to Walter Reed Medical Center with severe injuries. Bloodshot goes into a virtual reality simulator to view the data on the disc he acquired from Cortez. He learns that Jillian was injected with a serum called Project Hope and Glory when she was younger which will help her survive the nanite blood transfusion. Jillian wakes up and the self preservation programming in her nanites kicks in. She injures several doctors and soldiers. Bloodshot tracks her down.

Bloodshot #43 – “The Abyss” September – Bloodshot protects Jillian until she can be fully brought back to health.

Bloodshot #44 – “The Return of Rising Spirit” September – Bloodshot and Jillian travel to Japan to destroy Iwatsu’s labs. Iwatsu infuses Goro Sanada’s blood with nanites. Sanada survives the transfusion because of the injections he received when he was younger as part of Project Rising Spirit. No longer the Seventh Dragon, he now calls himself the Crimson Dragon.

Bloodshot #45 – “Enter the Crimson Dragon” September – Sanada and Jillian fight. Sanada escapes Musashi Labs and goes after Matsuda, a Yakuza leader. Bloodshot finds an imprisoned Tanaka and sets him free. The two go after Sanada. Sanada kills Matsuda. Jillian tells Bloodshot she’s pregnant with his twins. Iwatsu launches the Proteus virus, a computer program that will eventually become self aware and go back in time to destroy nanite technology.

Solar, Man of the Atom #55 – “Black Star” September 19 – Solar stops an attempt to steal deadly pathogens from the Center of Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia. (Editor’s Note: Date is based on the Atlanta Braves 1995 schedule.)

September 20 – Solar travels to China to stop a man calling himself Black Star. Solar, not knowing Chinese, is unable to communicate with him. Black Star begins to absorb Solar’s powers.

Solar, Man of the Atom #56 – “Jailbreak” September 20 – Solar learns that Black Star is a scientist whose family was abducted by the Chinese government in order to provide incentive for him to work for them. Solar helps Blackstar rescue his family.

Eternal Warrior #47 – “Voices of God” September – Gilad and the Force arrive in Djurkistan and convince the people that he’s Ma’ah Bishmah. Clay McHenry, the Geomancer, tries to convince Gilad to stop what he’s doing. The Mahdev, the leader of Djurkistan, stabs Gilad and he appears to die.

Eternal Warrior #48 – “Beware False Prophets” September – Gilad rises from the grave after being dead for several days. He kills the Mahdev and gives the people of Djurkistan a book to help them amend they’re laws and administer the land.

October – Gayle Nordhiem and Fred Pearson begin seeing each other. (Conjcture: Weeks before Solar, Man of the Atom #59)

Solar, Man of the Atom #57 – “Solar Squad” October – The US government sends the , lead by Michael Siroit, after Solar. Myra Lane still serves on the team as a Co-Pilot. Solar defeats them.

X-O Manowar #58 – “Shock Treatment” October – Aric fights and defeats Hotwire, a man who has the ability to control electricity.

Solar, Man of the Atom #58 – “First Contact” October – Solar meets Atman the Inquisitor, an alien being visiting Earth. Atman revives a Russian man who caused the Chernobyl disaster when he was experimented on. Solar stops him and Atman leaves Earth.

X-O Manowar #59 – “Old Soldiers” November – Aric fights and defeats Gridlock, a government agent who can increase his mass. Crescendo begins to gather the enemies of Aric together.

Solar, Man of the Atom #59 – “Gayle” November – Solar visits Gayle and learns that she has begun seeing someone else. The US government enlists the aid of the imprisoned Dr. Silk to help them come up with a way to trap Solar. They attempt to capture him in a super collider but it fails and Texas is destroyed.

Solar, Man of the Atom #60 November – After the destruction of Texas the Earth shifts off its orbit causing worldwide natural disasters. After great internal debate about what it means to be a God, Solar decides to undo the damage that was done.

X-O Manowar #60 – “Fair Game” November – Aric is attacked by Alloy, Lummox, a Spider Alien and one of Crescendo’s troopers. He defeats them. Gamin tells Aric that Crescendo is behind this attack and she can show him where to find her.

PunX Manga Special #1 November – Girrigan the Beheamoth, an insecure giant monster, attacks Acclamation, Oregon. He is stopped by the unconscious Nucleo, the giant monster fighter.

Bloodshot: Last Stand November – Bloodshot meets Richard Cole, the father of Richard Cole Jr. who was killed in 1985 during a mob hit on Bruno Mortalli. The two discover that Harold Glenn was responsible for Bruno escaping the hit. Benito Carboni, who had millions of dollars stolen from him by Bruno, captures and tortures Glenn for information regarding Bruno’s whereabouts. Bloodshot and Cole discover that Bruno Mortalli changed his appearance and name, becoming Barry Mondale. Bloodshot and Cole locate Mondale. Mondale, wearing a battle suit, attacks Carboni. Bloodshot and Mondale fight, and both plunge into the East River.

November – Benito Carboni is arrested. (Bloodshot #46)

X-O Manowar #61 December – Aric joins a group of homeless. They are attacked by an artist trying to capture images of death and destruction. Aric kills him.

Bloodshot #46 – “Casualties” December – Bloodshot helps Karla, a KGB agent, track down Victor Goda, an arms dealer and her husband. Karla kills Goda.

X-O Manowar #62 December – Aric, with the aide of his new homeless friends, begins fighting against drug dealers and taking their money to fund his fight against crime. Gamin continues tracking Crescendo and witnesses her get run over by a bus. Master Darque comes out of “retirement.”

December – Jillian Alcott travels to the Arctic Circle after hearing Proteus call out to her. Proteus speeds up the gestation time for Alcott’s twins. (Bloodshot #50)

Eternal Warrior #49 – “Endgame” December 29 – Gilad, who is still suffering from oxygen deprivation, is betrayed by members of the Force while on a mission in Moscow, Russia after obtaining a vial of Ebola virus. Clay McHenry arrives in Russia to aid Abrams. Brisbane is revealed to be an agent of Fenris.

Eternal Warrior #50 – “Final Round” December 29 – Clay McHenry helps Gilad heal from his injuries and protects him when Fenris attacks. Brisbane is killed.

December 31 – Gilad Abrams spends a quiet evening at home with Migdalia.

1996 Bloodshot #47 – “Badblood, Part 1” January – Bloodshot travels to Washington to investigate Amchem, a company under investigation for polluting the Columbia River and a subsidiary of Musashi Labs. His interest is in one of Amchem’s employees, June Schnieder, a member of the FBI who worked in the relocation program. Bloodshot knew her before he became Bloodshot. Bloodshot breaks into an Amchem facility and is attacked by a Speedshot named Bear who is controlled by June. Bloodshot is thrown into the Columbia River.

Bloodshot #48 – “Badblood, Part 2” January – Bloodshot is rescued by the Nahook Indians, whom Bear was a member. Amchem employees attempt to forcefully remove the natives but Bloodshot stops them. He fights Bear again and is rescued by a wolf. Bloodshot confronts Schnieder, telling her that he knows she was the one who sold him out to Iwatsu. Bloodshot sends all the information connecting Amchem to Musashi Labs to the Justice Department. Bear kills Schnieder.

Eternal Warrior: Fist and Steel #1 January – The Tulpa, a necromantic double of Tashi Khatun, returns and attacks Clay McHenry. With the Earth’s help Gilad finds McHenry.

Eternal Warrior: Fist and Steel #2 January – Gilad teaches McHenry the rite of Chod, an ancient ritual to help defeat the Tulpa.

X-O Manowar #63 January – Master Darque goes to New York, attacks Aric and takes his armor.

X-O Manowar #64 January – Aric travels to New Orleans and reclaims his armor after slitting Master Darque’s throat while he is sleeping.

X-O Manowar #65 January – Aric learns that Master Darque damaged the armor while it was in his custody. Aric bonds with the armor in order to heal it. After the bonding the armor detaches itself from Aric.

Bloodshot #49 – “Double, Double-Cross and Rubble” February – Bloodshot travels to upstate New York to retrieve a weapon called the neupro gun which is owned by former mob associates of his. He is attacked by twin assassins from The Place of Many Alike. Bloodshot fends them off and retrieves the weapon.

Bloodshot #50 – “Deathtrap, Part 1” March – Bloodshot learns that Proteus has returned and he travels to the Arctic Circle to confront it. After being attacked by Proteus he reunites with Jillian, who has already had their twins.

Bloodshot #51 – “Deathtrap, Part 2” March - Yoshi Iwatsu joins in the fight against Proteus. Jillian’s twins are killed. Iwatsu, Proteus, Jillian and Bloodshot all appear to be killed in a huge explosion.

X-O Manowar #66 – “Past Tense, Prologue” May 15 – Ax attacks Aric. Aric decides to spare Ax’s life but the armor tears Ax’s flesh off against Aric’s will.

May 16 – Gamin tells Aric about Hwen Mirage and Carmen Ruiz, hoping they can help with Aric’s armor.

May 17 – Hwen and Carmen are unable to assist Aric in breaking the armor of the Darque power. Gamin finds Aric at the ruins of his old home. The armor kills Gamin.

X-O Manowar/Iron Man #1 – “Heavy Metal, Part 1 – The Reality Alchemists” June – Spider Aliens, Dromak and the forces of Crescendo gather to find a fragment of the Rock of Reality. Aric finds them and thinks he blasts them out of the sky but they disappear to another reality. Aric then fights James Rhodes in the Iron Man armor. After they fight Rhodes tells Aric that he’s from another reality. Crescendo, with the help of Baron Zemo, a villain from another reality, use the rock fragments to merge their realities. (Editor’s Note: See the Heavy Metal timeline for more information.)

1997 March 29 – Archer, Armstrong and Geoff McHenry return from the Lost Land. Geoff retakes the mantle of Geomancer from his Uncle Clay. (Editor’s Note: We know that these events must take place before 1999 because of #0. I see no reason not to use the date given in Playing God, a fan project that touches on this moment in its story.)

April 1 – Aric, who is now a drunk living in New York City, is reminded by his landlady to pay his rent. He checks on his armor. It is still affected by the Darque power. (X-O Manowar #66)

X-O Manowar #67 – “Past Tense, Part 1” April 1 – Mallik, a sorcerer, shows Aric visions of his past.

X-O Manowar #68 – “Past Tense, Part 2” April 1 – Mallik continues to show Aric visions of his past and of his possible future.

April 16 – Jack Boniface writes Hwen Mirage a letter revealing that he had rescued his mother from being run over by a tank when he was traveling through time. (Secrets of the #1 – The Second Life of Doctor Mirage)

1998 Ivar, the Timewalker, leaves his broken tachyon compass with his friend Mac in the hopes that he can repair it. (Timewalker #1)

Timewalker #3 – “Mac!, Part 1” Having travelled from the year 2033, Ivar arrives in New York and visits his friend Mac who has fixed his tachyon compass. Ivar tests it out and travels to the year 1903 to meet the Wright Brothers.

Having travelled from the year 1918, Ivar successfully navigates back to 1998 with the fixed tachyon compass. When he arrives at Mac’s apartment he finds Mac being held hostage by an android, Prometheus. During the scuffle Mac, Ivar and the android break through the glass and fall six stories.

Timewalker #4 – “Mac!, Part 2” Ivar battles the android and the two are sucked into a time arc that takes them to the Cretaceous Period, 67 million years ago.

Having travelled from the year 1625, Ivar the Timewalker returns to Mac’s apartment.

Ivar brings Mac to his safehouse in Woodstock, New York, hoping to protect him from Jahk’rt. He travels to Easter Island and catches a time arc that brings him to 1923. (Timewalker #5)

Timewalker #9 – “In Out In” Having travelled from the year 1498, Ivar the Timewalker travels back to his safehouse in New York. Ivar is brought to Jahk’rt by Iris. Jahk’rt opens a time arc and accidentally sends Ivar to 1910.

Having travelled from the year 1911, Ivar the Timewalker helps Mac escape from Jahk’rt’s ship. Mac sends Ivar to 1973 and himself to 1910. Mac rigs Jahk’rt’s ship to blow up.

1999 September 9 - Jack Boniface dies a painful death fighting against the Darque power. The heroes of Earth gather to mourn him. (Shadowman #5)(Rai #0)(Shadowman #9)
