CRAVEN DISTRICT COUNCIL LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF STATEMENT OF COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT PLANNING AND COMPULSORY PURCHASE ACT 2004

This statement has been prepared in accordance with Regulation 24 (4) and Regulation 36 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004 and gives notice that the Council’s Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) was formally adopted on 28 June 2006.

Copies of the SCI and accompanying Inspector’s Report are available for inspection at the following locations during normal opening hours:

• Council Offices, Granville Street, Skipton • Town Hall, Skipton • Town Hall, Settle • All North Yorkshire County Council Libraries located within Craven District outside the Yorkshire Dales National Park

Any person who feels aggrieved by the decision of the Council to adopt its SCI may apply to the High Court for permission to apply for judicial review of the decision to adopt the statement.

Any challenge must be made on the grounds that either the document has not been prepared within the appropriate power or procedural requirement has not been complied with.

Any such application must be made promptly and in any event not later than 3 months from 28 June 2006
