Diseases: The patient suffers from: Stroke (paralysis-half part). Patient needs medication.
Hospitals: The patient will require multi-disciplinary therapy (neurologist, cardiologist, physiotherapist) for his stated condition and can access the required treatment across several public and private hospitals in Lagos. Please find below the details of two such facillities:

Medication Metamizol is currently not licensed for use in Nigeria (included below is the
cost of an alternative NSAID analgesic Paracetamol). All other medications are however available: Amitryptilline 40mg formulation is not readily available

Insurance: Nigeria operates a National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) however its coverage is currently limited to federal civil servants and employees of enrolled private sector organizations. There is thus currently, no existing program under which the patient would qualify to benefit from the scheme as such the cost of his care will most likely have to be financed out-of-pocket.
