Pumped-storage power plant Grimsel 3 Switzerland of 600 MW installed capacity comprising a 575 m concrete lined vertical shaft with inner dia. of 6.4 m. Expert for the design of mitigation measures against buckling of the steel liner under external pressure during emptying and siphon operation. Dez Dam and HPP, Islamic Republic of Iran, comprising an arch dams of 194 m in height and a power plants of 520 MW capacity: Hydraulic expert for the study (Phase I) of a sediment flushing device for sustainable management of reservoir sedimentation. Grimsel 2 pumped storage powerplant, Switzerland of 450 MW installed capacity. Influence of heightening of Grimsel reservoir on the structural behaviour of the tailrace tunnel and the surge tank. Expert for safety assessment. Nant de Drance pumped storage Project, Switzerland of 600 MW installed capacity comprising a 470 m concrete lined vertical shaft with inner dia. of 6.5 m. Expert for the design of the pressurized waterways (pressure tunnels, shafts and steel lined tunnels). 2003 – 2006 Karun IV Development Project, Iran; comprising a 230 m high concrete arch dam with a maximum spillway capacity of 10200 m3/s (PMF), side spillway chute and crest spillway, two river diversion tunnels of 9.5 m dia., open air powerhouse with an installed capacity of 1000 MW. Member of the Panel of Experts responable for hydraulic structures. Siah Bishe Pumped Storage Project, Iran of 1000 MW installed capcity, comprising two concrete faced rockfill dams of 85 m (Upper Dam) and 104 m (Lower Dam) with appurtenant hydraulic structures, two pressure tunnels with 7 m dia.
