Item/Description Discussion Action Welcome Wendell Alexander welcomed everyone to the meeting. Apologies It was noted that there were 14 apologies. Priorities – Poverty an Wendell Alexander led a discussion Elderly Poverty regarding the Small Group Discussion Summary and Action Points and asked members to suggest any amendments.

Anna Quail agreed to lead on the action B. McQuillan to arrange point - Awareness of Advocacy and meeting with Anna Quail. Welfare Services and Gaps and meet up with Brian McQuillan to discuss.

Lynn Anderson agreed to lead on the following action points - 10 Volunteers to provide support and mentoring - hard to reach people and Christians Against Poverty (CAP) - Budgeting skills course.

Members agreed that a timescale of B. McQuillan to update December 2016 was suitable for all the summary and distribute action points. to members. Input – Royal Blair McGeogh provided information Volunteer Service: about the Good Neighbours project and Good Neighbours the services that the Royal Volunteer Service offers to people in South Ayrshire.

Strategic Planning Advisory Group Meeting George MacPhail informed members that the recent meeting was cancelled due to members on holiday.
