KJFC例会

於：ジャズカントリー JAZZSTANDARDS.COM BEST100より 2016年7月23日（土） Michiko Saga 今回、初めて KJFC で担当させていただくことになりました。

詳しい知識もありませんが、自分の「勉強」のつもりで、名曲と評価の高いものを追ってみようか・・・という初心者の思いつきが今回

のテーマの発端になりました。

JAZZSTANDARDS.COM というサイトの中ではスタンダート曲がベスト 1000 まで紹介されています。その評価を「基礎」とすること

に決めました。ベスト 1000 ではあまりに途方もない数になりますがベスト 100 から単純に、曲を特定することができれば、初心者でも

どうにか様になるかもしれません。まず、全く、主観を交えず、ベスト 1～20 までの曲を無条件で選びました。

ベスト 21～100 までの中からは、8 曲・・・これは、私が好きな曲、知っている曲・・・自分の好みを交えて選んでみました。

そしてお目当ての曲が収められた「名盤」を探すという通常の方がされるであろう作業の逆の順番に取り掛かりました。

決まった曲は、全部で 28 曲、下表のようになりました。

George Gershwin 、Duke Ellington 作曲の曲は 3 曲ずつ、Jerome Kern、Richard Rodgers は 2 曲ずつ

最も古い曲は、発表後 100 年以上が経過しており、一番新しいのでも 60 年以上が経過していました。

どの曲も、今でも、引き継がれ、歌われ、演奏されています。テーマは単純に、スタンダート曲ベスト 100 からということで、

ヴォーカルに限定もしておらず、演奏内容もアーチストも一貫性はありません。おかげ様で、様々なレコードを聴き、その中にお目当て

の曲があるか・・・あったら他のレコードに収められている傾向の違うのと聴き比べてみよう・・・。そんな繰り返しの中で、レコード

が決まって行きました。紆余曲折ありながらも、レコードは夫のコレクションから拝借しているので、「名盤」による「名曲」のプログ

ラムができたと思います。この曲は、このレコードが一番！という夫の「お墨付き」も含まれています。

私には、解説できる知識もないので、自分の出来る範囲で、調べ、まとめたものを表に致しました。

最後までお付き合いいただけましたら幸いです。
