Ukulele Club Marbella hits the right note

New members are welcome to join a fast growing group of fans during their weekly practice sessions

:: ASH BOLTON MARBELLA. A new ukulele club is growing fast in Marbella thanks to a plucky Irish musician. Colm Fitzpatrick started teach- ing the ukulele to a couple of friends last June shortly after moving to Spain from Cork. But word quickly spread about the club and dozens of people are learning how to play the small guitar-like instrument. Now the group are planning on putting on their first performance at the Don Carlos Hotel in Marbella in June. Colm, 32, who is originally from Cork, Ireland, and has lived in San Pedro since January 2017, told SUR in English that he started the club almost by accident.
