On Son Jay MacIntyre’s Senior Day “Anyone who has seen their kids graduate from college and do different things knows it is awesome. All of the different people who have had kids who played college sports understand the time, commitment, effort, energy, all of the things that goes into it. It really molds them. Every kid that came running out I was happy for. I am a little bit of a father figure for all of them in a way. All of them have been in my office in different times with different issues or different things positive and negative. You grow up in college. That is part of it. Watching Jay go out there and seeing his mom, brother, and sister was like, ‘Wow. He is finishing college.’ I knew that and understood that, but that kind of put the exclamation on it. I can’t tell you how proud I am of him. He has grown from a boy to a man. You always say that, but he really has. Seeing his effort on the field, his work ethic, tenacity, what he has done in school, and the leadership qualities he has developed. It makes me a proud dad. It really does. In order to clinch the title outright and go to the Pac‐12 Championship Game, Arizona State must lose to either Oregon or Arizona in the next two weeks (ASU plays Oregon later this evening).

Utah’s defense had a season‐high 16 tackles for loss and six sacks.
Jason Shelley had his second‐straight 200‐yard passing game with 221 yards (11‐of‐23, 0 INT) and completed his first career touchdown passes, including a 47‐yard touchdown to Jaylen Dixon.
