Fabric/Supplies needed: ➢ #26 or #15 ➢ 505 spray adhesive ➢ 80/12 sharp embroidery needles ➢ Teflon iron shield ➢ Steam A , ¼” wide tape ➢ ½ yard fusible fleece, to 13” x 16” ➢ stand ➢ loaded with thread that coordinates with your choice of backing fabric ➢ USB stick-come to class with your design downloaded from the CD on your USB stick ➢ Embroidery bobbin case (if you use a different one for the embroidery process) ➢ OESD StabliStick stabilizer ➢ Embroidery thread, 3 to 4 threads that coordinate with your border fabric ➢ ½ yard off-white linen, cut to 10” x 13” and fuse ShapeFlex 10” x 13” to the reverse side of the linen ➢ 6mm folder ➢ Slide on tray table for sewing ➢ Cutwork tool-cutwork plate and 44C foot ➢ Double curve embroidery , thread snips, paper scissor, straight with small heads ➢ ⅓ yard print fabric for the borders and ➢ 26” of ¼” wide finished bias or purchased to accent the border fabric ➢ 4” x 5” backing with fusible web ➢ Thread to match border, accent and backing fabrics ➢ Display stand (optional) or dowel and ribbon for hanging

By the Way: It is important to have all your materials before class begins and have your set up and ready to sew. Our teachers make every effort to start on time and we want you to get full benefit of the class experience.

 Classes must be paid for at time of registration.  One week cancellation notice required to refund or credit fees. No refunds for visiting teachers.  Materials list is provided at time of registration. All brands of sewing machines and sergers are welcome in our classes (except Ma- chine Mastery).  As a courtesy to others, please turn off cell phones during class.  No kids in adult classes; no adults in kids classes.  Loaner machines are available for $10.00 rental fee at time of registration.  You may bring your lunch (we have a refrigerator) or we will take lunch orders for a local restaurant at your expense.  We do our best to make everyone happy but we’re all on different “thermostats”. You may want to consider bringing clothing layers which you can put on or take off to keep comfortable.  Label all your equipment (rulers, scissors) to avoid mix ups. 1/27/2018 Hello Spring Wall Hanging or Table Top Display Page 2

Bring to class: ➢ Sewing machine in good working condition with power cord, foot control, slide tray for sewing, new needle. ➢ Embroidery module, embroidery bobbin case (if you use a different one for embroidery), large oval hoop (bring 2 if you have them), plus the mega or jumbo hoop ➢ Basic sewing kit to include: chalk marker, water-soluble fabric marking pen, long strong straight pins with small heads (invest in quality straight pins with glass heads), , seam ripper, seam gauge, scissors for thread cutting and sewing shears, double curved embroidery scissors, thread snips, paper scissors, ➢ Rotary cutter, mat and ruler ➢ Mini iron

Pre class preparation: ➢ Download design from the CD in the pattern to your USB stick ➢ Cut and prepare border/binding fabric, backing and accent fabric as listed below ¼ yard of border/finding fabric, cut to: 2 - 2¼” by width of fabric strips 1 - 3½” x 13” strip 1 - 4½” x 13” strip ½ yard of backing fabric, cut to: 1 - 13” x 16” rectangle 1 - 6¼” x 12” rectangle Accent fabric, cut to: 2¾” x 13” strips (unless you are using a purchased trim)
