The following tree (varieties) are recommended for planting in treelawn or retail and commercial planting sites where stress from compaction, pedestrian abuse, pollution etc. has previously troubled other types of . The trees listed below have been used successfully in many communities. However, please remember that the success of any tree planting depends upon the individual planting site as well as the tree and the care it receives. For specific information about any of the trees for your particular planting site, please contact the Division of Forestry or a member of the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association.
