Mark Ashurst-McGee (graduate student, Arizona State University) is an associate editor of the Papers of Joseph Smith at the Joseph Fielding Smith Institute for Latter-day Saint History. He won the Reese Award for the best thesis in Mormon History in 2001 for his work on Joseph Smith.

Davis Bitton (Ph.D., Princeton University) is professor emeritus of history at the University of Utah and former assistant church histo- rian for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Glen M. Cooper (Ph.D., Columbia University) is an independent scholar specializing in the early history of science, particularly of Graeco-Arabic medicine and astronomy.

Robert D. Crockett (J.D., ) is a partner at Latham & Watkins, Los Angeles.

Matthew G. Fisher is an undergraduate student at the University of Utah completing degrees in philosophy and English.

Brant Gardner (M.A., SUNY, Albany) is product specialist for a privately held software firm in New York. He has published articles on mythology and kinship and has formal training in Mesoamerican studies.

Keith H. Lane (Ph.D. candidate, Claremont Graduate University) is as- sistant professor of religion at Brigham Young University—Hawaii.

David A. McClellan (Ph.D., Louisiana State University) is assistant professor of integrative biology at Brigham Young University.

Louis Midgley (Ph.D., Brown University) is professor emeritus of po- litical science at Brigham Young University.

George L. Mitton (M.S., Utah State University) is retired from a ca- reer in education and public administration.

Don Norton (M.A., Brigham Young University) is professor emeri- tus of English at Brigham Young University.

David L. Paulsen (J.D., University of Chicago; Ph.D., University of Michigan) is professor of philosophy at Brigham Young University.

Daniel C. Peterson (Ph.D., University of California, Los Angeles) is professor of Islamic studies and Arabic at Brigham Young University.

Matthew Roper (M.S., Brigham Young University) is resident scholar at the Institute for the Study and Preservation of Ancient Religious Texts at Brigham Young University.

Jan Shipps (Ph.D., University of Colorado) is professor emeritus of history and religious studies at Indiana University–Purdue Univer- sity Indianapolis.

Brian D. Stubbs (M.A., University of Utah) has completed coursework and comprehensive exams toward a Ph.D. in Near Eastern languages and linguistics from the University of Utah. He is an instructor of Eng- lish and linguistics at the College of Eastern Utah–San Juan Campus.

John A. Tvedtnes (two M.A.s, University of Utah) is senior resident scholar with the Institute for the Study and Preservation of Ancient Religious Texts at Brigham Young University.
