List of NDT Personnel Currently Certified by Nrcan List of NDT personnel currently certified by NRCan Last update: February 28, 2017 Welcome to the NRCan National Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Certification Body’s Directory of NDT Personnel. Certifications Expiring December 31, 2016: NRCan is currently completing the processing of renewal requests for clients whose certifications will expire on December 31, 2016. This process should be completed by March 10, 2017. Clients showing an expiry date of December 31, 2016 that have submitted valid renewal requests before December 31, 2016 will continue to hold valid certification until March 10, 2017. Please note: All personnel appearing on the Certified Personnel list are currently certified even though they may not have received their updated certification card from NRCan. All candidates who are due for recertification must successfully complete their recertification examination before their next NDT certification renewal date. During the transition period for the implementation of CAN/CGSB 48.9712-2014 / (ISO 9712:2012, IDT), once clients that require recertification are renewed, their certifications are valid until their next NDT certification renewal date, however their renewal is issued on a conditional basis pending the successful completion of their recertification examination process. Candidates who do not complete their recertification examination by the end of their period of validity will not have their certifications renewed past their current expiry date. Certification status of NDT certified personnel can be verified by contacting the NRCan National NDT Certification Body. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT EMPLOYERS AND CUSTOMERS VERIFY THE CLAIMED CERTIFICATIONS OF THEIR NDT PERSONNEL. Individuals and companies are encouraged to protect themselves from fraud and possible financial and legal entanglements by routinely checking the claimed certification status of individuals against this Internet list of NDT personnel currently certified by NRCan. This information is made publicly available in support of clause 9.3 of CAN/CGSB- 48.9712-2014 as a supplementary mechanism of certification status verification. Do not accept a facsimile image of a wallet card as proof of certification; directly verify the faxed information against this web site listing. In order to protect the reputation and integrity of CGSB/NRCan certification and to avoid potential legal or financial ramifications, you are requested to alert NRCan to any irregularities that you may perceive in the certification of individuals. This list of NDT personnel, currently certified by NRCan, was produced at NRCan and was accurate on the date shown. Any alteration of this information is strictly prohibited and may be unlawful. • Latest Twinned Section on Highway 43 Improves Safety for Motorists Divided Roadway Between Green Court and Sangudo Opens to Traffic
Managing growth pressures September 20, 2007 Latest twinned section on Highway 43 improves safety for motorists Divided roadway between Green Court and Sangudo opens to traffic Mayerthorpe... Motorists travelling between Green Court and Sangudo will enjoy 18.5 kilometres of newly divided highway, as the province officially opens the latest twinned section on Highway 43 at a cost of $22.3 million. “Twinning Highway 43 between Edmonton and Grande Prairie is nearly complete, providing a safer and more efficient highway for one of Alberta’s major economic corridors,” said Luke Ouellette, Minister of Infrastructure and Transportation. “By twinning this important stretch of the North-South Trade Corridor, Alberta is investing in the economic future of the province.” Highway 43 forms the northwest leg of Alberta’s North-South Trade Corridor and runs 432 kilometres from its junction with Highway 16 west of Edmonton to Grande Prairie. The Alberta government has invested $1.3 billion to develop the North-South Trade Corridor since 1998, including $566 million since 1998 to twin Highway 43. “As a long-time supporter of the twinning of Highway 43, I’m pleased this very busy section of highway will be safer for motorists and will help support economic development throughout the region,” said George VanderBurg, MLA for Whitecourt-Ste. Anne. Two additional Highway 43 projects are currently underway. Final paving of 34 kilometres of previously twinned Highway 43 between Sangudo and Glenevis is expected to be finished by the end of September at a cost of $9.5 million. An additional 35 kilometres of Highway 43 twinning will also open to traffic later this fall, weather permitting, between Asplund Creek and Iosegun Lake at a cost of $46 million.
