Notice for Inviting Application for Pre-qualification of Contractors for Structural Rehabilitation/Repair Works at IDBI Bank Belapur
IDBI Bank Ltd. invites application from reputed, experienced and Indian registered contractors / firms for the Bank’s proposed Structural Rehabilitation / Repair works at old Building at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai.
IDBI Bank Ltd. proposes to carryout Structural repairs / retrofitting Works of its old building which has Basement + Ground floor+ 2 storeyed building admeasuring a built up area of around 9000 Sq.m. The scope of work would involve Structural repairs / retrofitting works, methodology of works and specifications & detailed scope of works would be provided by Bank separately.
Bank would like to empanel Contractors for Structural repairs/rehabilitation/retrofitting works of IDBI bank old building Belapur Navi Mumbai Location. Contractors are requested to furnish details regarding their Company, Organization Chart, Date of Incorporation, Experience etc as indicated in the application format given in the web site. The application forms can be downloaded from the IDBI website www.idbibank.in from Notices – Tenders.
The application formats duly completed in all respects giving the aforesaid information is required to be addressed to the officer as indicated below, where the contractor desires to get empanelled, and should be enclosed in a sealed cover super scribing in the top left hand corner of the cover as "Application for Empanelment of Contractor for Structural Rehabilitation/Repair works of IDBI Bank’s Old Building at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai" and dropped in tender box kept for the purpose on or before October 22, 2019 by 3:00 PM. The sealed cover to be addressed to General Manager (IMD), IDBI BANK LTD., ANNEX BUILDING – 1st Floor, Plot No. 39-10-41, Sector -11, Opp. Railway Station, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai – 400 614. The sealed cover should necessarily be dropped in the tender box only which is kept at said Office for this purpose. If the covers are sent by post, the vendor should ensure that the Pre-qualification bid is received at the above mentioned address before the prescribed time to avoid rejection.

Terms and conditions of Pre- Qualification
A. The project is to be completed in a maximum period of 3 months and only those Structural Repair Contractors who are capable and confident of completing works within scheduled time, need to submit their application for Pre-Qualification.
Contractors satisfying the pre-qualification criteria would be empanelled. Contractor may therefore decide and apply to this advertisement, subject to their meeting the criteria set forth here under:
B. Qualification / Eligibility Criteria
1. The bidders should have their main Regd. Office / full-fledged Branch office in the municipal limits of Mumbai/ Navi Mumbai/ Thane. The Applicant / Tenderer should have necessary infrastructure / equipments / supporting staff at senior and middle level.
2. Work experience and completion of similar works of specified value completing during the specified period : Copies/documentary evidence of the detailed work orders indicating name of client, date of award, work of specified value of work awarded, time given for work, date of start and finish of the work, reason for delay if any etc
3. The Contractors should have minimum 10 years’ experience as on September 30, 2019, to render services towards Structural repair/rehabilitation/retrofitting works of offices/ institutional building /banks and commercial buildings.
4. The Structural Contractors should have average annual turnover of Rs.1.5 Cr. during last three financial years ending March 31, 2019 (Copies of audited Balance sheet, P&L Account and IT Returns duly certified by CA to be submitted for FY 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19).
5. The solvency required for the bidder should be at least Rs.2 Cr. The solvency certificate shall from a nationalized or scheduled bank and issued within a period 12 months from the final date of submission of Pre-Qualification bid.

The Structural Contractors should have executed successfully similar works (at least one of them should be in Central & State Govt. / Central Autonomous Bodies / Central & State Public Sector Undertaking / Financial Institutions / Banks ) during last 7 years till September 30, 2019 which should be either of the following:-
(a) Three similar completed works each costing not less than Rs. 2.0 Cr. or (b) Two similar completed works each costing not less than Rs. 2.5 Cr. or (c) One similar completed work each costing not less than Rs. 4.0 Cr.
Similar work means "Structural Rehabilitation / Repairs / Retrofitting works of office complexes / residential buildings / commercial buildings etc."
C. Time of completion 3 months from the date of issue of work order.
D. Method of award of work Tender would be invited only from the pre-qualified contractors.
E. Submission of Pre-qualification Documents
