Part I 1. The Principal’s Report - Highlights the key activities, events, and successes of the past year and briefly describes major new initiatives to be undertaken over the next year.

Activities related to NSS and NCC were organised from time to time, Sports activities were organised for the different levels; A ten days Yoga camp was arranged for the benefit of the staff and students. Regular redressal of complaints to the CM Helpline, proper and actively disbursal of the different scholarship- Pratibha Kiran, Gaon Ki Beti, Vivekanand Yogana, Awagaman Yojna etc. Efforts were made to achieve academic excellence by improving the teacher taught conditions installation of the biometric Machine for attendance.

Steps are being taken for library automation, laboratory upgradation and and provision

of Wi-Fi facility

2.Overview

Vision, Mission and Objectives of the college

The college has an aim not only create infrastructure but a

multidimensional vision to all around development. The college will try to its best to provide innovative educational facilities, to develop critical thinking, to

inculcate moral and ethics and cultural values among the students to develop nationality and global prospective among them.

Government Degree College Badwara was established by government th st of on 13 August 2013. In a government building at 1 floor, BRC building, Badwara having student's strength of 8. The college has got 10 acres of land in 2014. Two regular faculty were appointed to create basic set up for the college and regulate the academic calendar of the DHE. After receiving a grant from the government of MP the construction of the building has been proposed to be started. The building is under construction and expected to be handed over to the college till July 2018. The teaching and extracurricular activities are being conducted with the help of guest faculty and outsource.

(i) History of the college with significant milestones

(i)Badwara is a medium class village in Badwara Tehsil in of Madhya Pradesh. It comes under Badwara Panchyat and also locate to east narth of the District. It ios is located 22 Km Headqourter of Katni District. 2Km from Rupond Rly Station of SE Railway 0.5 Km from State Highway (Shahdol –Katni) 380Km from State Capital . A post office , tow Bank Branches Central Bank of , Coperative bank. Girls Higher Secondary , Boys Model Higher Secondary and Jawahar Navoday School and Private Higher Secondary school are located and run in Badwara Village Tehsil B.R.C. and Janpad Panchayat Agriculture Sub Devision officeestabised with thana SDO Police & Circle- V. Garh. Also run in the Badwara for administrative purpose.

 Extension Activities : Since Now Campous in Under Development

Pedestrian pathway needs to be constructed in and around the college campus. Besides mega plantation, there should be developed a botanical garden. For sports and games, the track and outdoor games like volleyball, cricket, hockey, kho-kho and kabbadi grounds is propassed. In Now Campous. Solar power system development in college would help in saving electricity bills and also encourage natural resources of energy. A project has been planned in this respect. For water harvesting all pipes from terrace can be connected to

underground tank.

Upgradation of computer labs, net working and wi-fi facilities to seek

national on live training and certificate program has to be started. College level softwere with LAN facilities as well as strong on line information & services have to be develop Interdisciplinary activities will be arranged to promote quality enhancement. Advancement and digitalization of library along with quality lab facilities to all labs – Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Botany, have to inhanced.
